Elk Street Retreat was everything it was advertised to be.. The house was fantastic: kitchen was well apportioned - maybe the best of all the VRBOs we've stayed at over the past 5 - 6 years. Beds were super comfortable, plenty of bath towels and bath accessories. We were one block away from the main part of town - but you'd never know it when hanging out on the deck or back yard..We especially liked the multiple times a day visit from an adorable white cat we nicknamed Frankie. We would love to return for another 3-day weekend next year if Sarah will have us.

The house was spacious with multiple rooms and restrooms for a big family. The kids loved playing hide and seek. This three story home was a great workout for my legs. Not recommended for older folk with a bad knee. House is in downtown which was great for walking to near by parks and local library and eatery. It was right next to McDonald's which made ordering breakfast easy if you didn't want to cook. It's an old quaint house.

Great family set up
This property allowed our large family group to all stay together with a wide variety or bedrooms and bathrooms. The property was clean and charming in a perfect location. It allowed us a short walk to a variety of restaurants each night. It was perfect for our group. The owner was very responsive and checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. This is the place to stay in Franklin...do not miss out.

Family in Franklin for Memorial
This home was perfect for our family that was in Franklin for a memorial service. We were so happy to find a place with so many bedrooms and bathrooms for our large family group. The owner responded quickly to our questions. Online check-in instructions made our arrival easy. The information book left in the home was the most complete and helpful one we have ever seen in a vacation rental. The home was comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed, including plenty of quality towels and linens. We highly recommend this home to anyone needing a large number of beds and bathrooms.

We loved staying in this beautiful old house! We enjoyed the character of the old house and the new updates! The bedrooms were beautifully decorated! We also enjoyed the game room. Only problem is that it is not handicap accessible. It would be nice if that was listed on the online description. We would highly recommend this house to others.
