Very close to the city center. Location is great and the staff is very kind. Rooms are new and more than ok. Parking is good especially if you consider the position of the Hotel. It could be a little bit cleaner, but all in all, I was really satisfied with my stay
I stayed in this hotel in February for traditional Spilewarenmesse Nürnberg. Due to late booking by my travel agent, I had to stay in the Twin Economy Room. If you plan to book this from I must warn you that with all my respect to this hotel, this type of room is hardly suitable even for one person stay and is reminiscent more a jail cell than a living room. The room of about 10 sq.m. totally lacks fresh air. Rooms are not supplied with fridges either which means you have no place to keep a cool drink or sandwich. Given the hotel is comparatively far from restaurants area, absence of fridge is definitely does not add much to comfort. Although, it must be said the hotel staff allow you to use their fridge in the bar, if you wish. In guards to location, hotel is 5 minutes walk from huge transportation hub Plärrer and Old town. Fairly it needs to be noted that hotel staff is doing everything to brighten up poor impression of the hotel and are very responsive to any guests' requests. After my complains on the tiny room where I was supposed to stay I was proposed a bigger room by lady on reception and I am very grateful her for that. Rooms are also equipped with coffee/tea stations and electric kettle. Breakfast is fresh and vast.
Hotel was clean, comfortable and had free wifi. The area is not the best but it is only a short 5 minute walk to the metro. Staff polite and helpful. Good value for price paid. Can't comment on breakfast as ate at a cafe near the metro.
Excellent location for the old town & a great walk to the German Christmas markets. Huge spotlessly clean room, very helpful friendly staff. An excellent place to stay in Nuremburg. Very warm as you get in from the cold.
The beds were extremely comfortable, the curtains blocked out all light, and there was absolutely no noise coming from outside at all, so we slept perfectly every night. The room was large and nicely decorated. The only bad thing was that there was no fridge so no way of keeping drinks cold (which was very hard for us as it was 30 degrees outside). There was a fan though so the room didn't get too hot. The breakfasts were quite expensive so we didn't eat there, but overall it was a very nice place to stay.
I have travelled all over the world for the last 35 years. This hotel is doing a brilliant job. Firstly its location is about a twelve minute walk from the main station, about the same to the Old Town, as I walked it! Not all hotels have a Welcome package or even welcome note but they did. The rooms and hotel were very clean, lots of nice extras like fruit in your room, a free bottle of water, range of teas, an English paper in the morning and the staff could not have been more welcoming or friendly. Room size better than others I have stayed in. I have high standards and for a 3* this is unbeatable. I cannot believe some of the reviews. Well done and blessings to you all. ( I also loved I could get the God Channel too) and there was free wi fi. Credit where credit is due. Keep going as you are doing a great job and I have paid far more in Europe for a lot worse. I will be back. Fliss G
While checking-in receptionist requested me to wait until she finishes her task and then provided relevant papers to sign. No any other information about the hotel and its amenities were not provided. In the morning I had to search for the canteen location. it is not big deal but I would expect hotel reception to inform about breakfast start /finish time, in case if I require to have lunch or dinner in the hotel and maybe some other amenities which I'm not aware about.
I stayed here for 7 nights over Christmas. Although the hotel is basic it is nice and clean and ideally located 5 minutes walk into the old town with a few shops in the vicinity. Would stay again in future
We stayed only for 1 night at New Year Eve and checked in at around 20:00. The room was ice cold. After calling the reception they told us to turn on the heating which we did but after half an hour we didn't see any change. We called the reception again and this time they told us ''Oh yes because you are at the 5th floor it can take up to 2 hours for the radiators to start warming up but eventually the will warm up definitely''. We asked to change a room and they said that it was no other room available. They offered us a complimentary breakfast and provided us with a small portable heater and gave us instruction to return the heater after the radiators will start warming up. So we welcomed the New Year shaking under the duvet. The next day we woke up again in an ice-cold room. At check out reception said that it was already too late to do something and that's why they offered the complimentary breakfast. It is only 3* property so I wouldn’t expect much from it but they don’t even provide the very basics.
Decent little hotel with all you need, room comfortable and well kept with welcome biscuits and chocolates. Surrounding area looks a bit grotty but never had a problem entering or leaving the hotel both early in the morning and late at night. Only gripe is the "bar area" isn't really a bar area it feels like an old empty office with the main desk receptionist working both the desk and the bar so sometimes a fair wait must be had before you would get your drink. Didn't eat hear as the old town was in walking distance, train station close by with easy access all across Nuremberg. Would definitely recommend.
