I stayed here for one night on a short trip of Bavaria (Bayern) last week The room was booked on Lufthansa points so I can't comment on value for money It was spacious enough for a night, and everything worked properly. That was sufficient for me! The bed was comfortable enough, although the Germans can't seem to get the hang of a well-designed pillow! Two stacked up on each other seemed to just about do the trick, however... In the morning, I went to Plärrer (the local metro station) to stock up on some food and drink for breakfast and the morning, since the €13 breakfast at the hotel seemed a tad excessive and I like to try and feel like a local insofar as I can. The surrounding area isn't Kensington, but it isn't 1970s Hackney either. Just okay. However, it was an easy walk to the DB-Museum in the morning (see separate review). From the airport, €3 is a single ticket, take the U2 to Plärrer, then follow signs out of the south-eastern side of the metro station to Zufuhrstrasse, then the hotel is on the right hand side of the Zufuhrstrasse itself as you walk down. Good for a night or two but possibly not for longer

This hotel is very modern with small cosy rooms located just outside the city walls of Nuremberg. I think the hotel is overpriced as it isn't inside the city walls so every time you want something to eat or drink its quite a long trek to get anything decent but apart from that its quiet of a night and gives you all of the comforts you would expect.

I would say this is a two-star hotel. It does not have a restaurant and the room size is about a third of that of north American hotel rooms. My room only has a single twin bed with right side placed against a wall. The bathroom is so small that I cannot brush my teeth without bumping into shower glass door right beside the sink. The combination safe does not work in my room. Only two towels are provided and no face towel at all. The room is clean and new looking. Everything else is satisfactory to good.

Perfect stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Leonardo Hotel. The room was perfect, very clean and modern. The bed was amazing, very cozy and the pillows were the best I have seen. The hotel is close to the U-Bahn station Plarrer (5 minutes walk) in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We will definitely book at another Leonardo Hotel again.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean. We got upgraded to a suite so the room was extremely spacious. Bathroom was a little cosy but had all the essentials and a great powerful hairdryer which came in handy due to the rainy weather the staff were helpful and very friendly and the breakfast was very fresh with a great selection of not only continental style but cooked breakfast selection too. Though the hotel is set outside of the city walls it was only a five to ten minute walk to the centre of the city. You could easily walk to the station in 15 minutes. The hotel is set down a side street and at first you would think in a strange location but it felt safe enough walking around. All in all the hotel was reasonably priced for the service we received.

We loved the hotel. The room was spacious, super clean and has an outdoor patio. The staff is helpful and friendly. We met a fellow American and Veteran of the Gulf War, Tony. It was great chatting with him. Also, he makes the best coffee that I had had since I left the States two weeks ago. I really recommend the hotel.

Average hotel. Provides breakfast and very accessible to Nürnberg old city. Around 100+ rooms and very decent. Staff are courteous and environment is very safe. There's a bar and restaurant. I'll recommend this place.

Had a pleasant stay at the Leonardo Hotel. Staff were friendly and professional. Rooms were comfortable and clean, however, the room attendants kept leaving our window wide open which meant we came back to a family of flies inside our room each day! Located in a very untidy area but we didn't let this put us off our trip. Would recommend this hotel for short visits to Nuremberg. Very close to the centre and public transport.

The hotel is located a 15-minute walk away from Nürnberg Hbf and a 5-minute walk from the very charming Oldtown. The staff was friendly and helped us store our luggage at the hotel until we could check-in, as we arrived early. The room was fine, though the only cooling was a small fan, which made cooling the room difficult.

Excellent room fair size very clean and tea making facility ,not much of a view we were on the ground floor over looking the car park but eh who cares I would rather have a nice room and a poor view than a poor room and a nice view .The staff were very good and polite the small bar is more or less 24 hours and the location for the price is spot on 7 mins from the under ground station on a direct line to the airport 7 mins walk to the city walls we would definitely use this hotel again cannot comment on the food we had room only please note there is no air con but every room has a portable fan .
