I have spent three nights at May! The hotel located in a walking distance from city center. The Staff was helpful and professional and they also manage to change my room according to the booking that I have made (at the start I was offered a smaller room compared to the one that I have booked). The room was spacious and clean...high speed wifi was available.. about the have not opinion because I did try during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
We arrived in the afternoon, at around 7 PM. First contact was not very nice because the receptionist asked 50 Euros as a deposit (?). My first thought was to give negative review but magic, in the second day, Salvatore (i hope i remember well his name) from reception was a great friendly guy! The room was clean, nice bathroom and a really great terrace at 4th floor! I will be back!
It was very nice staying while we attend Interzoo 2018. It is very close from subway station Plarrar to go to Messe. It is also pretty close from old town. We were able to enjoy after work for both go shopping and go to many restaurants.
We arrived for a four night break in May’18 and was given room 217, nice and clean but the view was a large building site with two large Mechanical Diggers located opposite from the front of the Hotel, photo’s taken and Complaint made and moved to room 214 with a view to the rear hassle free and two boiled sweets placed on the bed. Room had no A/C but a room fan was supplied in the wardrobe and you can open the windows, but still this had little effect on cooling down a stuffy room, particularly at night when you have the thick blackout curtains closed and the air from the outside struggles to enter the room, resulting in some sleep disturbances. If you Google the Hotel and look at Images you will find photos of lovely spacious rooms with a bedside cabinet either side of the bed, we did not get that so a little misleading. A little stingy on the Coffee Sachets ( enough for one coffee each with powdered milk ) supplied each day but there is an Aldi nearby so we purchased coffee and cream sachets that did not need refrigerating. Hotel Staff were very friendly. Room had a good selection of pillows but was small and only had one bedside cabinet, a wardrobe and desk with a green leather chair, no mini bar in the room, not that we would have used it, but I would have removed there stuff from it to replace with my own. Bathroom has a heat lamp with a timer switch and when enabled turns on the heat lamp and extractor fan, the toilet was not level, Warning ⚠️ don’t have your partner run a tap or flush the toilet when your having a shower as you will get a rush of hot water hit and burn you ( most showers protect you from this, but not the one in room 214 ). No English TV Channels so was pretty pointless for us so bring a portable DVD Player and a selections of films with you as the Free WiFi is so poor that you will hardly be able to Stream media, one other thing is that the TV in standby mode emits a bright blue light which caused some sleep disturbance as it pieced through the darkness of the room at night. Breakfast was good, but don’t attend at 9am well busy but a good selection with friendly helpful staff on hand. Location, as already mentioned, the Hotel currently has a large working building site in front of it with two large mechanical diggers, next door to the Hotel is a disused fenced broken up building, at the rear we overlooked a large green area. The walk into the old town is very nice with a nearby Aldi supermarket and easy reach of the main train station, and if you walk further along the main road to your right before entering through the old town walls you can avoid the towns Red Light District that shows working girls in the Windows Ect .... Travelling from the Airport ( Flughafen ) is so easy as follows: As you exit the Airport you will find two large Red Ticket Machines, then validate your ticket by getting it stamped in the small machine at the top of the stairs before proceeding down onto the Platform then board the U2 Train going to Rothenbach after passing a number of stops you stop at a station called ‘Plarrer’ which is only a short walk from the Hotel, the whole journey will take around 15 minutes.
Very close to the old town, very close to SUBWAY STATION Plarrer, breakfast also very good and the staff was so helpful to help me with the CHARGING ADAPTER . i wish they had rooms with one big king bed too instead of two small single beds, rest everything was great and lovely.
This is a quiet, nice hotel, the staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. The hotel is a short walk from the old town (10/15 min depending on where you want to go). It's possible to park close to the hotel for free.
The room was very clean and comfortable - despite the two single beds merged into a double -, the bathroom was quite functional and well equipped and the wifi worked just fine. There's transport near, but, as the city's not that big and we were just visiting, we did everything on foot. I'd definitely recommend.
Hotel is quite good. It is near of Plärrer subway station and the storic city of nuremberg. Rooms were ok, clean and big enough. Service was correct, include some chocolates and water as courtesy and lemonade on reception. Hotel also include a reataurant on the ground floor that we didn't visit
I stayed here with my girlfriend for 5 nights (8-13th December 2017) while we were visiting Nuremberg for the Christmas markets. The hotel was in a great location for that, with the city center being only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel room was clean and really modern, stylish and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and spoke fantastic English. Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, no complaints at all.
