The rooms are spacious enough. The first night we had a leaking shower and lots of noise from their Dolce Vita restaurant, so they changed our room and also gave us a box of chocolates. The Bella Italia restaurant is not worth entering, but the Dolce Vita one is wonderful. Their breakfast is fantastic.
Clean and close to a shopping mall. Very friendly and helpful staff. There was a small street market just off the main shopping road. It was a good place to find misc odd things like a mate cup or outlet plug adapter.
I stayed one night. I had it booked for 90 dollars and I was happy with what I got. There are some snacks in the room that you will be charged if you eat them, so they are not a welcome treat for you ;) The hotel is well located. The staff were so helpful since I had a bad schedule to visit the waterfalls park etc. I would stay at least two nights if I ever go to the town again.
I spent a weekend there and I really liked it. The concierge was very helpful with the tour sightseeing. the hotel is Very confortable and very charming. But the breakfast is amazing.Being close to the mall was a bonus.
If you correspond with them via email they are very responsive. They also monitor WhatsApp. They provided a free shuttle from the airport. They have a great tour desk in the lobby, terrific breakfast buffet, they have free WIFI and their helpful in many languages, a mall with a great food court is 100 meters walk, OK the architecture is not the most modern but it is clean well maintained. If I had to find something that would be better there is no English TV channels. They have CNN but it in Portuguese.
I picked this hotel because of the consistent reviews on trip advisor because it is close to the mall, central location, close the bus station, good breakfast, and great service. They were right! Upon arrival, the staff was polite, welcoming, proficient in both Portuguese and English, answered all of our questions, and made recommendations. The room was just big enough for a couple, queen size bed, comfortable and I slept well. The bathroom was clean, spacious, large towels, and they provided more towels upon request. Little soaps, shampoo, conditioner, comb, provided. There was a mini-fridge well stocked with cold beverages, not free I am sure. The breakfast served in the morning was absolutely excellent. It would be impossible to try all the items at the buffet. There was hot coffee, fresh juice, fruits, cereals, sweet breads, desserts, lunch meats, cheese, a variety of eggs, and hot food items, bacon, sausage, and waffles. They were quick to clear used plates if you wanted to go back for more. One thing that is unique, there is a travel agency located in the hotel lobby from about 7:45 am - 6 pm. The gentleman will help you put together the package that you are looking for from moderate to all out tour package, including the Argentine side. The mall is critical because there were ATM/money machines, and a place to exchange currency from Brazilian $R to Argentina $ARG Pesos. The mall has a large and extensive food court and a massive grocery store if you need anything. The location of Hotel Bella Italia is in the center of Foz do Iguacu city. You can catch a cab to local bars and restaurants for a pleasant evening out. And close to the airport too. The service was very welcoming and friendly. If I make it back to the waterfalls, I would gladly stay here again.
Simple but charming. Easy to reach in town, very clean and Standard rooms. Excellent Italian restaurant, with traditional dinners some days of the week. Closed parking (paid) and regular swimming pool with bar attached (only in seasons).
We have stayed at this hotel twice, with a 6 year gap, but when we checked in the staff knew that. Amazing. Friendly very helpful staff. The rooms are not fancy but very clean. Restaurant is excellent, especially on Italian night, breakfast superb. Highly recommend, would stay here again if visiting.
Good location, clean, comfortable, great breakfast, very helpful staff - especially Leonardo the porter who recommended an excellent nearby (taxi ride) restaurant with its own fishing lakes, which was perfect to fill the afternoon of our first day.
We enjoyed our stay very much and the personnel was very helpful. The breakfast is outstanding with a multitude of tasty choices. The room was a little worn out, thats why it is not a five star I would definitely recommend it to someone else.
