Staff was very helpful and the room was clean.
Room was dirty, blue berries under the table and dirty dishes in the dishwasher, no toilet paper or hand soap. Shower had a very bad leak and wet the bathroom floor. Had to exchange towels within the first hours of our stay. For a $150 pet fee/per pet you would think they would actually "detail" the room like they claim they do. Nope! Supervisor at check-in lacked in Customer service. Would not allow me to cancel reservation so I was forced to stay there. Extremely loud with hwy exit right next to the hotel and also right next to the train tracks!! heard that train horn late at night and wee hours of the morning. AC is really loud as well. The manager at exit was great, wish I would have dealt with her at check in.
I’d recommend anyone to stay
Didn’t like that I had to pay for parking, saw no security or any reason to have to pay. My trip was extended I had checked out but decided to go back and stay at this location and this time I did not have to pay for parking. What’s the deal?
This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We usually stay down town but this trip wasn’t necessary so we tried something new. I was dubious since it is a block off I30 and next to the rail yards. We never heard either one. It was clean and comfortable and upscale.
Nice property doing its best to function normally under the COVID circumstances. Clearly they've reduced staff, meaning that the front desk person is responsible for distributing grab & go breakfast, filling up the coffee and cleaning the lobby sitting areas, in addition to checking people in and out and all the other tasks the front desk performs. Not ideal, for her or the guests. The rooms are nice, clean and the place is quiet. Only other thing to note is a $10 charge to park in their open-air, ungated parking lot...which is absurd.
Due to virus, the property was not up to standard in amenities.
Great stay at the Towneplace - it's located right between I-30 and the Chisholm Toll Road, which means it's easy for E-W or N-S travel on the west side of Fort Worth. It's walking distance to Flying Fish and Railhead BBQ, two local restaurants that have great (not low carb) eats. Also you could walk to 7-11, Whataburger and Taco Bell, although it's a bit further. Very well lit parking lot, and parking is free (the Marriott site says $10 a night but that's incorrect). The hotel is only about 6 months old, so it's in great shape, rooms are well appointed with small kitchen, full fridge and dishes / glasses. Great property for staying on the outskirts of downtown Fort Worth, close to Dickies Arena and TCU.
Nicely updated rooms but not very clean. Found some hair on the towels that were most definitely not mine. The refrigerator in our room didn’t work and wouldn’t close. The hotel is right across the highway from the train tracks so it’s incredibly noisy at night. Also, it’s an additional $10/night to park your car in the parking lot.
good location,nice staffs,clean room,everything is good
Staffs were nice, clean hotel, definitely stay again in the future!
I was very disappointed. The room was disgusting. Clothing from the previous guest was still hanging in the closet even after the manager was made aware. The pillows smelled like sweat. There was a disgust white garbage big placed in the bathroom ( I would never understand its purpose) The trash bin was broken and peeling. Housekeeping must be understaffed because it looked like everything was rushed. Very disappointed. The fire pit outside was not working. I just couldn’t eat the green bananas and the broken waffle machine. Cold sausages and soggy eggs. I cannot even begin to understand what this place disappointed me so.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you fro choosing the TownePlace Suites Medical District. We're delighted to hear that you had a great stay. However it caught in my attention in regards parking situation. We do implementing parking fee due to compression from surrounding area, but sometimes our associates had missed it. We do hope that despite parking we would still have the opportunity to host you again next time.
