I enjoyed staying here for the night on the town . Very sweet staff and felt very welcomed
No issues. Great stay
Located next to river with walkway and minitrain.
The staff was ok …you can tell it’s very Outdated , from the unwelcoming entrance, and the pool was dirty disspoting which I am surprised this is even part of Marriott company . elevator stunk , and when I walked into my room it felt it hadn’t been cleaned . Actually it looked as someone else was in the room when I entered, and boy , the smell of whoever was there smacked me in my face ! It was horrible that I had to purchase cleaning items to make the room feel at least clean. the Tv lights all on, and his toiletries were still in the bathroom so I know they either didn’t cleaned the room or half @ss it sorry . But it was already paid for and didn’t feel like changing to another hotel .
I was disappointed in how the property was a bit run down , when I entered my room , it felt it hadn’t been cleaned . I could smell the last person who was in the room , and that was pleasant. The bathroom even still has his toiletries in there . So the room was cleaned properly . i had already booked for the nights so I couldn’t leave to go to another hotel.I don’t recommend this place at all .
Employees nice, place was clean. Only one ice machine available on 1st floor of 4. Key machine didn’t work so had to stop at front desk each time we went out and back.
Coffee and breakfast bar were not flattering. Attendant was nice and professional.
The location, staff were friendly overall all happy no disappointments
Asked if my room was in a quiet area, was told yes and it literally was the noisiest room I’ve ever stayed in. Right next door was a hotel restroom & the ice machine which was used until after midnight & as early as 5 am!
Excellent stay at the hotel. May I suggest a courtesy newspaper be included in hotel offerings.
nice close to horse complex.Clean and friendly.Breakfast was good
Everything was great even the indoor pool became of crazy Texas weather but it was too noisy at night as we were facing a major highway and the train station
This was an easy drive to TCU, an easy walk across the parking lot to Ol South -- a fav of ours -- and Macaroni Grill, and right across the street from another fav shopping center with Pottery Barn, Kendra Scott, Lululemons, Athleta, Banana Republic, Sephora, and more. Room was excellent. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because it is located next to the freeway and near a train and I did hear both. The rooms do have noise machines (ours either needed batteries or wasn't working), but the noise wasn't bad enough to keep us awake. We heard zero hall noise throughout our stay. The front desk staff were super nice and helpful and were so pleasant about giving us a late checkout. We'd almost go back simply because of the staff! Our daughter is in her first year at TCU, so we will definitely be going back to this location. (This was our 4th trip to TCU, and this was by far our best hotel experience in the area.)
We came up for an academic competition at TCU, and the hotel was so convenient to where we had to go. The facilities were great, and everything was very clean and very well laid out.
Loved the room layout and style. Very close to restaurants. I needed towels and 3 mins later I had them. Great experience! Thank you ;)
I booked 4 rooms on Orbitz under my name. When we arrived at the hotel, none of the rooms were ready so we had to check our bags. I called the hotel a couple hours later to let them know we would be checking in, using all 4 rooms, and asked if it would be an issue if we were checking in at different times...I was assured it would not be. As it turns out, it was a big issue. The rooms could not be checked into unless I gave the "ok" over the phone. This resulted in me being charged for a room I never used because I was unreachable. Most of all, the women at the front counter were extremely ignorant with me and my friends. Very poor customer service experience.
Our room was quite noisy, partly due to outside noise and partly due to a guest in a room downstairs who apparently had his own music player since he wouldn't have been able to turn up any of the room devices enough to literally shake our bed. A nearby busy street and a busy rail line with nearby grade crossings at which every train blew their whistle were major contributors.
