Everything was great and accurate to the listing. The only issue was finding the driveway but we did get there at night so taht made it harder.

Everything was as we expected and then some. The cabin was very nice and the location was very quiet but still close to anything we were looking to do. The management group was very responsive.

It was a pleasant process from booking all the way to checkout.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with reserving any sort of resort property. From beginning to end the staff were communicating with me. The property is nice and clean. It's so peaceful and exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Wonderful Place

This place was perfect, clean, stocked and ready to go. We had a nice little thing of treats waiting for us when we got there, which was so nice. The place was very peaceful (minus the acorns hitting the roof 😉). Very close to Desoto State Park and not far from the falls. Will definitely consider going back.

Peaceful and relaxing cabin in the woods

We enjoyed staying at Otter Box cabin for the long Labor Day weekend. This cabin is close to grocery, restaurants and outdoor adventures near Desoto State Park. We travel with our dogs and they loved the porch sitting and being able to get them out for walk up the hill and back to cabin was very nice. Thank you for your great hospitality and we will for sure be back. The Colburn’s Cinder and Bandit Mandeville, Louisiana

Peaceful

The Otter Box cabin was the perfect getaway for us to relax and unwind. The cabin was immaculate and so comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Misti was so helpful from making reservations to suggesting local events and activities. We had a great time.

Amazing

We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was exactly as they described. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was very clean. We have a daughter in a wheelchair so we loved the wide door ways and the ramp. We had no issues at all getting her in and her being able to move around in the cabin. It was so peaceful and quiet, we will definitely be back. Misti was an excellent host and available if needed. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay.

The cabin was so cozy and Misty was so nice! The reason I rated 4 stars instead of five is because I would love to see some motion censored lights or something of that nature. If you go somewhere and come back at night, it’s really pitch black outside, so you have to use a flashlight. I had my baby with me so getting him in and out of the car seat was a challenge, but not impossible.

Wonderful cabin in the state forest hills

We were looking for an alternative to a hotel when we were directed to these cabins. Glad we chose this, because it turned out the location was phenomenal, the cabin was more than a cabin (it was a small house) and our stay simply was perfect. From having dinner around the campfire every night, the hiking, trails and nearby waterfalls, this truly was a hidden gem. I immediately told family and friends about it. I'm sure we'll be back!

Perfection

We had a wonderful weekend at the Otter Box cabin. The home was beautiful inside and out and everything was fresh, clean, and inviting. We appreciated all of the extra compliments, from soft cozy blankets to fresh ground coffee and Christmas treats! We also loved the location, private and surrounded by the forest and wildlife, but close enough to town to visit attractions and enjoy restaurants. We highly recommend the Otter Box!

The Otter Box cabin was the perfect getaway! We were offered very early check-in to this immaculate cabin. We had absolutely everything we needed and some extras to include snacks and the best coffee. Sitting on the porch and watching the deer with a hot, fresh cup of coffee was a favorite. We were comfortable, and the setting is so peaceful. The host is friendly and very precise with directions. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer.
