dirty socks behind night stand-not cleaned for unknown time. Dust bunnies, on floor under bed. TV did not work, only static screen. No breakfast. Maintenance man, tall man, wore pants below crack in rear anatomy, showing color of underwear. Totally unbecoming to Travelodge and Wyndham. front desk did nothing to change the dress code of the maintenance man. No more stays at Travelodge.,
1st fun part, was myself and another handicapped guest checked in, just to be told that we are on the 2nd floor in a different building, and then being told they dont have elevators on location. 2nd fun part, if you like roaches, theres plenty to keep you company. 3rd, the beds are absolutely horrible, definitely feels like they are the worse of a hand me down you could ever receive. 4th the rooms are so, SO ran down and in horrible conditions. 5th do you like the smell of Marijuana? No? Whelp get used to it before you check in, how about cigarettes? Thats ALL you smell in the hallways and outside the entry doors. Now, for the best part, its actually 2 best parts, 1) there is a wicked good taco truck at the end of thier property. 2) checking out.. AVOID AVOID AVOID this hotel, worse one ive ever stayed in and i use to travel for work and stayed in tons of hotel, this place doesn't deserve the travelodge flag that for sure..
This property is in extreme disrepair.
The property, itself was run-down. I booked several rooms for my staff. They all complained of strong foul odor in rooms, and some rooms had cockroaches. Pour drainage if bathtub. Staff was pleasant amd friendly. but can not mask a poorly maintained property. I had to buy my own air freshner to try to eliminate the odor. I would not recommend for family with children or for a business traveler purchasing mutliple rooms. Condition from room to room varies from bad to worse. One room had ceiling plaster that was falling down.
The hotel was closed when I went to check-in!!!! I had been sent a confirmation the day before from Orbitz. I should have been a notice that the hotel in Ft Myers had been closed from the Hurricane destruction 2 weeks prior to my reservation!!!! I was left with no room after flying to Ft. Myers to see my destroyed condo. I will never use Orbitz again orecommend it to anyone. They are an incompetent agency.
Not at all
I was charged $530 for two nights and found Roaches every morning in the bathroom, people smoking Pot on the property. Hot water came and went in minutes.
Room smelled musty and bed was old and uncomfortable.
We had a really comfortable stay. Took a little time to get registered even with a reservation.
Tv didn’t work. Lamps weren’t working.
Great hotel. Didn’t have any problems. Even my neighbor was playing guitar and singing at 6 am.
exterior condition of building is filthy. Woken up all night due to people yelling and arguing, didn't feel safe
