Was a last minute stay as I was taking the key west Express the next day. Checked in just fine, asked for a wake up call for the next morning, which never happened. Room was nice but loud music outside the room which went on most of the night

Must sign 2 page release of liability waiver!!!
Beware!!!! Arrived late evening and was asked at check in to sign a 2 page release of liability waiver to all rights to not hold them liable for any injury or DEATH that may occur while on the property. No thank you! We said we were not comfortable with the is and the front desk staff told us initially they couldn’t do anything because it was booked through hotels.com, but when we said we were leaving and staying somewhere else they said they would “take care of it.” They didn’t. We contacted both the hotel and hotels.com and even disputed charge and have not been able to get our money back. This is the last time I am ever using a 3rd party site to book a hotel stay. Absolutely no recourse.

Although I was greeted by a very nice young man, the whole property felt more like a Days Inn than LaQuinta. I certainly understand that the entire area is still in recovery from Hurricane Ian, but there were things that just should have been better…. There was a dehumidifier in the room, but the bucket in it was completely full. It is a pet friendly property but there’s carpet on the floor which was stained and held smells.
