Overall it was a decent place to stay for the price. When we arrived the staff was friendly and accommodating, however once the weekend crew came in it was totally different, the manger herself was rude and down right nasty to everyone she spoke to. I waited 10 mins while she was on the phone with a customer so I patiently waited to ask for more pillows, she told me the they were totally booked and had none which I found to be funny since half the rooms were empty.

The room was clean but property not taken care of and garbage that was on the floor was still there when i left and the smell from the mangroos they call it Red tide "stunk" i dont know how people used the pool with that smell let alone woke me up in the middle of the night coming thru the air-conditioner. Worst smell ever.

The pool looked beautiful, although we did not have enough time to visit the facilities! There’s just so much to see in Ft Myers!

Smelly rooms, No pool towels, not enough room towels, their website states they have laundry service however they do not. Their free breakfast was a bottle of water and a breakfast bar. The evening front desk staff was an angry woman that was extremely lazy, she left all her work for the morning staff, refused to put towels out for the pool, failed to call people when there were clean towels for the rooms, stood in the back office area on her cell phone when she knew people were waiting in the lobby and did not clean up the pool area, she left it for the morning staff. I checked out after one night and spent my last 9 nights elsewhere. The Pool was hotter than the hottub but was one of the few bright spots in this poorly run hotel. Even the sign for the hotel was crushed on the one side. The bright spot in the whole place was Shahana, she was very kind, apologetic, helpful, funny and very sweet. I wish her the best! Laquinta should be embarrased by the failure of this site. The rooms were dirty (someones long hair was waiting in my supposed clean room on the bathroom floor, a sucker stick and candy wrappers next to the dresser). I wont be staying at any Laquinta's in the future.

Hotel was renovated and room was nice. But staff was rude. Front desk actually hung up on me! No blanket on bed. Barking dog next door. Unruly guests making noise until midnight. Staff refused to deal with it. Would Not stay there again!

When we checked in we were informed no breakfast options and no maid services. Only way to get clean towels was for us bring dirty to front desk. Since we didn’t have room service or broom to sweep the floors the dirty towels had to be placed down to keep the bits of any sand from getting into bed. The floors do not have carpet so just walking to front office you tracked in stuff. So without even A broom to sweep by day one floors were sandy. So being told you had to Exchange towels we were able to get extra set from A maid in hallway. Or the one towel per person was not working. For price we paid thinking it would include breakfast was worth it. Knowing it was A lumpy bed with dirty floors and took me putting towels down to walk through room on day 2 I would say no thanks. We checked in and first room was so dirty on floors and so musty smelling I asked to be moved. 2nd room was cleaner but there was no towels no shampoo no toilet paper. The desk worker provided me the things but A guest shouldn’t have to ck into A room and then go to front desk to get all this. Very disappointed in the 4 night hotel stay here.

Pool closes at 6 30. On new year's everyone was told to get out the pool or police would be called. Manager very rude when we told her we needed more towels. No cups or lids for coffee . I would not recommend bringing kids here.

It was a good value and walking distance to the beach. Would be nice to have something for breakfast to eat with the coffee. Hot water was weak for both shower and to make coffee

The property was well maintained. There needed to be toilet paper and paper towels in the men's bathroom in the lobby.

Liz from the Front Desk was so accommodating and so special she was so professional and very nice, room was so clean and pool view was very nice. Location was everything for this hotel. Simply the best.

The hotel was super clean even though they didn't offer room service until check out.

only stayed one night did not like the lighting in the room very bright the room was comfortable enough

Very easy going experience at a very affordable price.

Everything was good but customer service was terrible. The front desk gave me attitude when I requested extra pillow told me he didn’t have time for that because they had other problems to fix. Very rude! Also they didn’t have enough towels and took about 5hrs to get me new towels

Modern update was nice. Outdoor pool area and dining area never cleaned while we were there. Dirty tables and floor. Pool deck never swept. Front desk personnel uninformed and made mistakes. Lobby was clean and breakfast good

Clean poo, l clean rooms, loved the breakfast . Just loved it

Thank you for reviewing your recent visit with us. We are working on getting staffing back to 100% since the impact of COVID and that will help with the excess trash. Luckily, the odor has moved on and we are all thankful for that.

Thank you for taking the time to review your most recent visit with us. I apologize for not meeting your expectations. Unfortunately due to COVID we have been enforced to restrict many services until a much safer, healthier approach is developed. We know that it is not ideal but are trying to protect both guest and staff members during these challenging times
