The house was very nice, however on the our first night, the toilet in the secondary bathroom would not flush. I called the management company and a plumber came in the morning. Unfortunately, one of the pipes under the house was broken. We were told that we could use the shower and the toilet, but toilet paper nor flushing. Since that was unacceptable, we worked with the management to find aonter house. Valerie was very helpful in locating another house on such short notice. We were also refunded our full payment.

Just Ok!

When we arrived to the home 3 trash cans were full of stinky trash (overflowing). Trash stayed outside the home for 3 days until the trash company picked it up. There was a dead iguana in the backyard by the pool it was a orrible smell. My kids only got in the pool once the entire trip. There were not a lot of pots to cook, so we spent more money eating out every night. The neighborhood was not the best. We had a creepy neighbors across the street who literally stayed up all night until 2am watching our house. We travel at least 3 times a year. I would say this was the most unattractive home. We made the best of it and we are a close family so we knew to find more smile in this situation.

Home worked well for our family of four while visiting the area. Each bedroom had a TV and comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped and gas grill was a nice addition.

Perfect for family of 9

This home was perfect for our extended family of 9. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Pool was the icing on the cake. This home has a tv in each bedroom and one in each living area. Perfect! Mosquitos and no-see-ums were a problem…bits that’s Florida and not specifically this property.

Disappointed

Disappointed. Location was great. House was not very clean. Floors were so dirty that my grandkids had black knees and feet. Facial hair was left in the the sink in one of the bathrooms. Poop all around the pool (apparently this is common, but being from Michigan, we had no idea).

First Florida Trip

Property was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfy and kitchen adequately stocked to cook meals. Property is much larger than the outside looks. Very nice sized rooms. We enjoyed seeing the geckos and lizards in the yard. The pool was awesome.

Perfect home for a family with kids

The house was perfect for our family of 6. The kids had a blast with the pool. My teenager loved his own room. The house was super clean and I noticed the fresh scent as soon as we walked in. The extra towels and linens were great. Every room was just like the pictures shown on the website. Each time I sent an email, I received a response within an hour. There was a little iguana poop by the pool, as other reviewers stated, but to me it was all a part of the "Florida experience." lol. It wasn't a big deal to go out there and wipe it up with a paper towel or Clorox wipe. It was like having a pet. There isn't much anyone can do about it. Our kids were super excited to see the iguana. Overall a great stay at Casa Del Sol! Thank you. :)

Spring break family reunion.

It was awesome. My wife had a chance to spend time with her father and mother and sisters. She haven't scene in a while so it was a blessing for all of us. Beautiful place wood. Stay again.

Nice and a lot of potential

This property needs lots of updates and love. It could use a deep ceiling to floor cleaning. The outside needs some love also. Dishwasher didn’t work, stove was ok, washing machine is wearing out. Great location and property just needs some TLC. Mosquitoes were awful I’m covered in bites. I left bug spray and a candle for the next guests.

Great Home

We really enjoyed the location. Very close access to Dania and Hollywood beaches, grocery shopping, and restaurants. Neighborhood was very quiet and great for walking. A marina was close by to walk to and look at some very nice yachts! Plenty of room for our kids and grandkids. The back yard was beautiful! Plan to book for next year.

Family Visit

The property is well located and very close to the Ft Lauderdale Airport which is what we needed in a property since we had an early morning flight out. The home was comfortable for our group of 5 adults. The pool was not needed by our group but would be very nice if you are traveling with children. There are only a few constructive suggestions I would make to the property owner. One would be to have small soap and shampoo starters available in the bathrooms. There was none provided and while not a huge issue, it would have been nice since we did not travel with any. The other is to have TV instructions near all the TV's and be sure all the remotes are working properly with batteries. One ceiling fan did not work in the main area, The cable service provided is basic cable without any live network coverage. Be prepared to stream from your mobile device through Roku if you want to catch a ballgame or any other desired programming. Other than those two small issues, the property was clean, comfortable and met our needs nicely,
