Double Queen upstairs room had a great view and super comfortable beds, but bathrooms need some updating & road noise was noticeable. The walking/biking path and access to the beach was the highlight! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was unfriendly when we checked in. We booked a downstairs room but we were given an upstairs room. I have knee problem so it’s hard to go up on the stairs. When we asked if they could check again or changed us to a downstairs king bed if they had any kind bed room available. The staff was unwilling to help and all answers from him was a clearly “no” with no patience. I don’t plan to go back to this hotel again.

As always this place is awesome. The guys at the front desk are super helpful. The place is the cleanest I’ve seen in 15 years. Worth the money.

Things we loved: proximity to the beach, the view was amazing, the staff were all very helpful and kind. Things to note: this hotel does not have AC, so if you visit during the summer months you will need to leave your sliding door open to let in the breeze (I’d recommend staying upstairs for this reason). The balconies are all very close together, so you can hear much of your neighbors conversations. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the view and location are hard to beat.

Bedding was clean. Carpet could have been vacuumed better. VERY small bathroom. No elevator. Definitely not for the handicapped. Not even any ramps.

Good location. Room was very small. I was expecting a fireplace in the room which wasn’t there. Rooms are so close that they were noisy. Neighbors got up at 6:30 and sat outside to talk and drink their coffee with no regard to the people in the room next door.

We typically avoid beach hotels due to poor experiences, but the Beachcomber was excellent! The rooms are average size, and the beds are very comfortable. Wi-Fi works well, and having a refrigerator is an added bonus. Second floor rooms have beautiful views of the ocean, and a walking/biking path as well as beach access are convenient to the hotel. The only negative is the very small bathroom, but it worked fine.
