The hotel staff is excellent. The hotel is very nice. I was not happy on my way to the airport, my last event before leaving Key West: I asked the hotel desk for a taxi and the bellhop put me in a (van) taxi and denied another couple riding with me to the airport. It costed me $24 plus tip and they got a taxi seconds behind me, and it costed them $14. Sneaky!

Right in the middle of the action on Duval st. City pressure washes the sidewalk out front everyday at 6:30 am which woke us up. The hotel is nice inside and our shower was huge. The room was not cleaned at all the last two days. The bed still had the same dirty sheets, just made the bed again. No ice machine and no microwave or dresser. We were there for a week and had no where to put clothes away. Pool is heated but closes at sunset. Parking is valet only. $50 charge for "incidentals" upon checking in. Next time I'll stay in a hotel closer to the "southernmost" end of Duval.

Great,, hotel is very close to all amenities and busy entertaiment areas in Duval

Was able to walk to all the activities my wife and I wanted and visit.

Walking distance to everything, friendly and attentive staff. Louie was great!!!!!

The room was very nice but small. You could barely turn around in the bathroom. Shower only and the water was on the floor after the shower.

We picked the LaConcha because of it's location directly on Duval Street in the heart of Key West's bars, restaurants & historical sights -- we were not disappointed. We were able to walk everywhere, and if one of our group became tired, or it started to rain, it was always an easy walk back to the hotel. Although on Duval street, rooms & pool felt quiet and private. Parking on property, with valet service was a plus as most hotels in that area do not have that level of convenience or service. Discovered at check-in that hotel was part of the 'Duval Collection', with 2 other sister properties (Pier House & Southernmost House) and the hotel offered complimentary guest shuttle (fancy golf cart) between properties. We used that for a quick ride down the strip to the beach & southernmost sights, as well as back up to the Pier House at Mallory square. Was traveling with husband and 3 teenagers (13,15,19) and felt that this hotel was the perfect choice for how we wanted to experience Key West. Hotel concierge knowledgable and made reservations for sunset snorkel cruise for us within 1 hour of arrival so we kicked off vacation quickly, rather than needed the first day to get organized and plan.

All staff was very courteous and able to help us with directions and advice on what to do in the area. The Spa Services are great and worth the splurge. The view from the roof top spa is spectacular!

Staff was always helpful and friendly. The pool is fantastic- lots of room to choose from, sun all day. Recommend a room with a balcony.

Great location. The pool was so so. Couldn't find a hot tub

We come to Key West every year, 1st time staying here. Loved the location, but there are things that have room for improvement. No ice machines, room quality is average at best, and restaurant and bars don't have much to offer in the hotel. Liked the pool area, but wish the bartender would have come around and taken orders and let us know you could order food. This is a place to stay for the location. Don't over expect on the features of the hotel and you will enjoy yourself.

Best feature is the location of the hotel. Duval St location right in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere. We parked our car and never needed it the whole trip. Guest rooms are on the small side. The bathrooms are smallest I have seen in a hotel room, ridiculously small. Well appointed though, as is the room. All higher- end finishes. Overall, I'd give it a C+ with respect to value. I dinged my value and room comfort ratings due to th e small bathroom and guest room.

Nice place, good location, right in the middle of the action on Duval Street

the hotel was incredibly clean with a wonderful staff. The room was big and the view was spectacular. I will stay again.....

Bathroom is poorly designed. Great location. Would be nice to have ice machine. Parking should be included in room rate. Otherwise great time!

Location was right in the middle of everything. Small pool. Our bathroom was tiny. Staff was nice.

The stay was awesome. My one complaint would be there were no umbrellas by the pool. It can be very hot out by the pool.

Great place to stay. Close to everything. The staff was just wonderful.

Everything was fine except they no longer have the rooftop viewing area for watching sunsets. Will have to reconsider staying at this hotel on my next trip. Bummer.

The overall stay was good. However they had to shut the water off for several hours durning the day and failed to mention anything until late the night before by sticking a note under the door. Plus the parking situation was a little irritating. They make you valet your car even if you would rather just park it and charge nearly $30 a night for it.
