Excellent stay! Staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful - healthy & delicious! Great location … close to train stain and easily accessible to all major attractions by foot. Our room was quiet and offered every amenity necessary. Would highly recommend and would return any chance we get.

Perfect stay in Florence

We absolutely loved our stay at Relais Luce! The location is a short walk from the SMN train station, but also walkable to most of the sights in Florence. There are tons of restaurant options as well. The room and bathroom were modern, well-appointed, and immaculately clean! Our room had a terrace with a table & 2 chairs where we enjoyed a glass of wine and the view in the evening. The common areas were also very nice, with a water refill station. A delicious breakfast was ordered from a checklist the evening prior and we enjoyed ours served to us on the breakfast terrace with its picturesque view. The hospitality was wonderful - everyone was friendly & helpful! We stored our bags at checkout too. It was really a lovely stay & we hope to return! Just a note that there are 3 easy steps to the elevator, and the hosts help with luggage if there are stairs to your specific room.

This was a real great place to stay in the centre of Florence. Stefan and his staff so helpful and friendly. It is all spotlessly clean and with a fabulous terrace with a view of the Duermo. Will be returning!

Fab property in a good location. Spotlessly clean. Staff were AMAZING and nothing was too much trouble. Bed was comfortable. Shower good and nice lighting too. Nice terrace to sit on and either enjoy hotel breakfast or you could take your own and sit out at there at any time.

Close to Train Station. the hotel is completely updated (rooms and bathroom). Breakfast at the terrace looking the Bell Tower and Medicci Dome is espectacular. Mercato Centrale walking distance. Highly recommended

A cosy B&B in Florence

It was an amazing stay. The hotel was near attractions and the train station plus plenty of food options nearby. The room was huge with a lovely view of the Cathedral, clean and equipped with the necessary amenities. Stefano & Madelina were wonderful hosts. Stefano was really helpful checking on updates when there was a train strike the day we were leaving Florence. We will be returning to Relais Luce when we visit Florence again in the future.

Great small B&B, location was very good, close to most attractions and the main train station. Lots of options to eat /coffee shops. The room was clean and well organized. The reception hours are limited, and during evenings there is no one at reception. The rooms are small and you can hear almost everything 😅. Also most rooms are facing the street, it's a very central location due to the train station proximity, and very noisy during all hours, even when the window is closed. During my last night, there was work done on the street ( 1am!) what made it impossible to sleep. Overall it's a nice hotel, but try to ask for a back room.

A fairly easy walk from the Firenze SMN train station, and in good proximity to many dining options. The property is very modern and the staff is very attentive. Reception is two floors above ground level, accessible mostly by a small lift. Depending on the room assignment there may be an additional flight of stairs to climb. Their optional breakfast was awesome!

The location was super convenient. It was close to the S.N.M main train station, and had supermarkets nearby and many restaurant. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. Not sure if I asked too much, but it would be nice to provide also body lotion in the amenities.

We traveling all around Italy and this was the BEST place we stayed. The room was huge, the service was great, location was great also. The terrace was AMAZING. Breakfast included and had every morning on terrace. Stop searching and book this place. You won't be sorry.

The staff are great, family owned. Two floors up via lift so very quiet, but conveniently near train which was helpful, and only a short walk to many sites. Elena was incredibly sweet and helpful, particularly with regard to making my way to the countryside after my brief visit to Florence. Her brother was very nice too and told me some interesting things about the olive groves in Italy. Nice breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view. I recommend and would stay again.

We loved our stay at Relais Luce Florence! Near the train station. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful, clean, spacious room. Great shower! Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city was a highlight. When we needed to leave early our last morning, the hotel arranged to give us a breakfast tray the night before. We'd stay there again.

This was the perfect place to stay in Firenze! The view from the terrace is truly breathtaking. My husband and I had the best time and appreciated Stefano and Maddalena’s kindness and help during our stay. We cannot recommend this place enough!

Great location! Room had everything we needed. There is a shared terrace that has beautiful views. The main negative point for us was having trouble with no he key getting back into our room. We could not get it open, and when we tried to call the emergency staff- no one answered! No one ever got back to us about our trouble actually. We eventually got in ourselves after many attempts at jiggling the key. My recommendation would be to always bring the physical key AND card with you, so you don’t have this problem.
