Fantastic owner

Very near 5 mins. Walk to the main train station just behind the bus station, room is big clean and the toilet as well ,walking distance to the center of Florence, thanks to the couple owner Marcela & hubby and daughter Pamela who help us and guide us with other tour.

Clean & close to train

Close to the train. Very friendly & agreeable hosts. Older residence but clean. Great if on a budget with no frills. I would stay there again.

Our room was down the road from where we checked in. Hotel owner very nice and enthusiastic!!! Water pressure in the shower was great! Room large by European standards, and even had an elevator! We even had a mini fridge and microwave, though never needed it.

It's not really an hotel. friendly staff.

When booking it was misleading thought it was a 5 star hotel. It's more of a guest house. Has large room and small bathroom. It's clean. Close to everything. Very noisy.

Reasonable Hotel close to Station

Stayed at Hotel Relais for 3 nights in May. Hotel was clean and close to station, had a slight issue with shower but were moved to another room immediately. The lady at reception was very helpful and gave tips on where to go to eat and where to visit.

Basic budget hotel, good value for money

The innkeeper was extremely friendly and helpful. We didn't actually stay at the main building, but in an apartment about a block away because it was larger and could accomodate 4 people in our group. It was a decent sized apartment and had 2 separate sleeping areas. There was plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was small and tight, but good enough. The apartment could have been a bit cleaner, but we were there for only one night so I wasn't bothered by it. The apartment is old, but so is everything in Florence and so I wasn't surprised. The only issue we had was the air conditioner. It only provided air in one of the rooms and couldn't reach the 2nd room. It was hot and I slept without covers in only a t-shirt. Also the refrigerator was never cleaned and there was an old sandwich and melted ice cream. I would return again but would highly suggest to the innkeeper for a 2nd air conditioner, or at least a portable fan for the 2nd room.

Great location and great rate

We stayed in the 2 apartments located a couple blocks from the hotel but managed by the hotel. The rooms were larger since they are small apartments, but not in the best neighborhood. The AC worked well and the TV was nice. The bed was not real comfortable and the pillow was basic cut up foam in a pillow case. :( Of course we did not spend a lot of time in the room and only there for one night. Also the hotel did not supply any shower soap or shampoo. The hotel staff was very friendly. The location was right next to the train station which was great since we arrived by train and left by train. We could easily walk to il Domo and the Ponte Vecchio.

Great Location, Great Room for Familes, Wonderful Hosts

This hotel is walking distance from the train station. The quadruple room was very large, which was a pleasant change in Italy. The hosts were wonderfully helpful and gave us great information about the museums and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for families on a budget.
