This property was a very short walk from the train station, and another short walk to all the attractions. I highly recommend it if you’re traveling by train. It is not fancy, rather simple and everything you’ll need. I requested a street view room, knowing that the street can get loud at night with restaurants, nightlife, but I used ear plugs and it was perfect. The front desk staff were lovely, breakfast in the morning, and there is no fridge but the front desk staff allowed me to put a couple items in the hotels fridge. I would highly recommend this place for easy, simplicity and convenience!

The hotel rooms were nice, spacious, and clean. The free breakfast was good, but I wish the pastry basket on every table were covered so no flies will get onto the food. On May 31 (Saturday), the lady in charge of breakfast was really nice and respectful but on June 1 (Sunday) the other lady who is in charge of coffee and breakfast was rude as she sighed when we got pastries from the closed trays instead of the fly infested baskets of pastries that were at every table. Whenever any guest asked for something she would show attitude as if it was a huge inconvenience for her.

The hotel, while pretty bare bones, was right in the middle of the Florence action, and the breakfast was a nice feature. The hotel clerk on the morning we left was not helpful or polite.
