This hotel have a great location. The service is great! You have everything around, great restaurants, shopping, Mercado... I love it! This is my third time and I will come back again. Highly recommend!

For a fun, stress free time in Florence, Hotel Nuova Italia fulfils every need. Located in the heart of Florence, rooms are quiet, clean and bathrooms brand new. Staff friendly and caffè perfetto! Grazie molto

Greta location within easy walking distance of train and coach stations as well as the market and city centre. There are plenty of nearby places to eat. The staff are friendly and helpful with excellent English. The accommodation is unpretentious and good value.

Nice hotel, on a pedestrian only street,no car noises, excellent service, great breakfast, very clean, spacious room the only draw back is that there is no elevator. Close to everything, Train station is a 5 min walk,

Pleasant mid-range hotel in a convenient location between the railway station and the Duomo. Room was clean, functional and pleasantly furnished (but on second floor with no lift). Worked well as a single room, but might be rather cramped as a twin. It faced the street, but the double glazing kept external noise to a minimum. Breakfast was fine and served from 7am – a big plus if going out of Florence for a day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely consider for any future visit to Florence.

This was the second hotel we stayed in during our trip and right from arrival the place was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help with any questions we asked. The room was very spacious and great value for money. The location couldn't have been better, 5 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes from the Duomo. Everything around Florence was very easy to walk to from the hotel with plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. Breakfast was mainly just bread and yoghurt, which was nice but some variety would have been better, but for the price there were no complaints. Overall the hotel was absolutely perfect for a few days exploring Florence and if I returned to Florence I would definitely stay at Hotel Nuova.

I really like Hotel Nuova. Spacious room, good bathroom and I had a room overlooking the street so I could people watch. They have an excellent breakfast. Great location close to all the attractions. Excellent budget hotel

Excellent value for money, rooms were clean and comfortable, hotel had character. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent location 5 minutes walk from the train station, and only a short distance to many of the attractions including a wide choice of places to eat.

It's less than a 5-minute walk from the train station on the pedestrian Via Faenza. The location is fantastic. Not far from the Duomo, the Market and other sites. Via Faenza also has a lot of restaurants, bars and mini-marts, which is convenient. Our room was a pretty good size and very clean. There was a bit of a funky odor when we first walked in, but I think that's just "very old building" smell. We didn't even notice it after the first time. Air conditioning is set at 24-Celcius (75-Farenheit). The mattress was surprisingly comfortable. Now, it's not a Tempurpedic or anything, but I've experienced much worse in other budget hotels. Breakfast consists of yogurts, rolls, croissants, fruit and cappucchino. The staff is wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Everyone I spoke to was able to communicate in English, thank goodness! I would have no problem booking another stay at Nuova Italia. I hope I get the chance to do so some day.

Stayed here just one night but really enjoyed it. The hotel looks pretty basic/rustic at first but is very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the air conditioning (something which I consider vital to survive the heat) is marvellous. Breakfast is typical continental but a wee bit limited - nothing hot and no meats etc. There's no elevator which wasn't an issue for us (it helped burn off a fraction of the wine and pasta) but might make you cry if you have heavy bags. Reasonably priced for the location which could not be better. The hotel is five minutes from the train station and handy for all the sites.
