The hotel is right across the street, which makes it convenient for traveling to and from the hotel. Our daughter had an ear infection and the staff helped us find a doctor. We liked the omelettes for breakfast. We had a triple room so it was a fairly decent size. Due to the location, there are really no good views from the hotel. Our room overlooked the bus station.

I booked this hotel because of two things, good reviews and being so close to train station. We were disappointed once we checked in as our room looked old and had an unpleasant smell. We couldn't work out what the smell was. Also the TV was so small, there was no way we could watch anything unless we were sitting right in front of it! Breakfast was very basic and not enticing. They don't even have a toaster!! Customer service was good, attendants were pleasant and helpful. We would give them a good rating. Being so close to train station is definitely a plus. Bathroom facilities were good with a big shower. Hotel it's at the bottom end of 3 stars. We will not come back to stay there again.

Marco at Aurora went above and beyond to make our stay welcome. He is genuinely concerned with all the running of the hotel and the comfort and happiness of his customers. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is ideal being literally right across the road from the train station. Our room had lovely views of the Duomo and Fiesole in the distance. It can get a little noisy since it is on a main street, but for ease of transport connections for bus/train/tours it could not be better.

Great little hotel. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Room was clesned by 12:00. Close to railway and many pickup points for tours. Good restaurants around. Breakfast standard. At least some omelette on the first morning. Wifi good. Not fast. Great price.

Booked online, picked this place because of the location. But, boy we got more than we expected. We were greeted with nice and warm welcome. Then the room...Giotto. First floor, large room, high ceiling with access to the garden. Modern aminities, wifi that's actually working. What not to like! Aurora Hotel is conveniently located accross the street from Santa Maria Novella train station which is very convenient and fits perfectly with our travel plans. Arriving early or late from our tours, no worries. Decided to leave Firenze at 9 pm, no problem. We walked around Firenze all day without our luggages because Aurora Hotel kept them for free. I can go on and on but I have to stop. Arrivederci 😍

This hotel is impeccably clean, staff are friendly and courteous, and food is great! it is walking distance from the transit, and to the great attractions of the city! I would definitely come back!!!!

Raphael at hotel Aurora provides good service. The room r large & spacious with high roof, modern ambience and clean neat room with crisp bedding linen. Ideal for self sufficient tourist looking for functional no frills stay with convenience & central location. The hotel has self vending m/c.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were asked if we minded receiving a free upgrade. We were assigned Room 103 on the ground floor. It was along a quiet little bright, airy corridor just opposite the reception area. Rooms were accessed via a very modern key card system, which the hotel would keep hold of so that you didn't have to take it out with you The room oozed a modern feel. Temperature control panel on the wall. TV. Control switches within easy reach of most areas - including the bed. Shower - pure luxury! - rainfall, mood lighting. Clean Breakfast was in an area opposite the reception that was also modern and bright. The dining area was not massive and the stools were not the best to sit on, but, selection of croissants, cereals, breads etc were more than apt. Drinks were dispensed via waiter service Location was excellent for train commuters. Some of the most popular sights of Florence were within easy reach, but, others were best visited by taxi (which the hotel will call and tell you the price to pay)

I stayed here years ago when visiting a friend of mine. I chose this hotel due to it's proximity to Stazione Santa Maria Novella. I paid extra to stay in the main building since I was traveling solo. The bathroom was clean and the staff was friendly. I also appreciated that the hotel didn't have a curfew. The breakfast they offered was a delicious start to the morning. Will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Aurora for 4 nights in September and got much more than we expected. The room was large, clean, comfortable, and quiet, even though it opened onto the main street. The hotel staff was great and very helpful with directions, and even some discount coupons for local restaurants. All of their recommendations were fantastic. Breakfast in the outside garden was lovely and satisfying. I would and do recommend this Hotel to everyone.
