We stayed at this hotel during our ten day pilgrimage in Italy. It was a very clean hotel and our room was larger than the other places we stayed. There was a market and several nice restaurants close by. One person in our group had to switch rooms because of a strong odor in theirs, but I think everyone was satified staying here. The lobby bar is very reasonably priced and has water and snacks.

Location is not bad, we had a triple room. Nice view of the city of u r at higher levels. Breakfast was included, not so many options for a breakfast but it was good. There is an elevator so there is no problem in taking room on higher store. Check in was very smooth and took not more than 5 minutes. Parking spots are available on Street but the free ones are limited.

Stunning stunning place. Lovely, wide variety of breakfasts, aircon, wifi and friendly staff. Not that close to all the 'touristy places' but in walking distance. Theres a lovely supermarket just around the corner with top quality food. Went there a few nights, instead of going out, lots of ready made food and nice fruits. The hotel was definitely a great place and i would go back in a heart beat❤️

We had a room on the 6th floor which gave us amazing views over the city. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel itself is easy to find. The only issue i had was being about to smell smoke from inside my room from another room on the same floor as a non smoker this was off putting. Breakfast was basic but included Standard European plug adaptors didnt fit which resulted in us buying another charger from a local shop

Really enjoyed staying here. The staff is kind and very helpful. Breakfast was good and there were different types of food. Not really near the city centre but there are lots of bus stops nearby. Recommended ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The lady at the check-in desk was so friendly, very surprised to find a smiling face. The room was really old and the bathroom was very tiny with hardly and space to move around. If you are anything outside of an average height, skinny person (taller than usual or not stick thin), you will probably have a very hard time taking a shower without hitting your limbs. Breakfast was okay, nothing too exciting. Location-wise, it's far from the city center. The hotel has elevators which is a plus.

We enjoyed our stayed at Hotel Meridiana and would likely stay there again. Although the room could use a cosmetic update, it was clean and provided enough space for the two of us. The front desk was extremely helpful in giving us directions to where we were going, giving us information on the buses and calling a taxi for us. The continental breakfast had a large variety of offerings including meats and cheese, pastries, yogurt and cereal. It had the most generous offerings in terms of variety and quality of the three hotels we stayed it in Italy. While the hotel is away from most of the attractions it was right near a bus station and the bus system was relatively easy to figure out. If you prefer to walk it, it was about a 30 minute walk from the hotel to the Arno River. We personally liked being on a more quiet street, especially at night. The only complaint I have was with the wifi, which was spoty. At night it was difficult to get a steady connection (probably because thats when most people are using it) but it worked great in the morning.

This hotel was outdated and overall unpleasant. The staff was not friendly or helpful, the electrical system is shot (don't try to plug in any hair appliances such as curling irons or flat irons because you WILL blow the circuit). The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the breakfast was bad. There are lots of good affordable hotels in Florence, DO NOT stay here.

A bit further away from the main sites than we wanted but still a good value for the money. There are bus lines that run from the hotel so if you are comfortable with public transportation in Florence you will be fine. The rooms were the normal size for European rooms. Bathroom shower was a bit small for my husband as it was a very small corner shower. The rest of the room was fine. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and very helpful. They walked us through where to catch the local busses and told us a few good local places to eat. I didn't have breakfast but it was included daily. My husband and the rest of the family had breakfast and it was the typical breakfast. There were two very small elevators and with the bus tours going through it got very crowded very quickly and the tour groups were extremely rude to the other guests staying at the hotel who were not part of the groups. There was a back courtyard that was quaint and quiet. We found it comfortable to sit outside after dinner and just chat and relax.

Hotel is clean but noisy both from the busy road outside and the number of coach parties arriving late in the evening and leaving early in the morning. The beds are very hard and there are no tea or coffee making facilities. There is however a fridge to store cold drinks. Surprisingly there isn't one English speaking channel on TV so with no background noise it made outside noise louder! Breakfast is "continental" but that's stretching the definition, I never thought I could get a bad cup of coffee in Italy ...somehow they managed it with the black stuff they serve at breakfast out of a machine! Sometimes a bath is called for after a long day walking but be warned, shower only. Florence is a bus ride away of 5 minutes or €8 in a taxi. Would I stay again? Probably not!
