Upon arrival, we were offered the last room, only to find the room not exactly accommodating (smelled like a dead mouse). The gave us credit for the room stay and some deodroizing spray which helped immensely. These things happen. The room they gave us waa one they generally keep open in case of a problem with another room, so it probably just wasn't checked often.
Very nice stay... convenient to University of North Alabama, as well as the downtown Florence area. Great location for food and University events... Highly recommended as the facility is clean and well managed.
Great stay at the Hampton Inn. Friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms. Lobby had coffee and tea along with cookies, popcorn and fruit. No complaints at all. Breakfast was just ok, would give 5 stars if breakfast had been a little better. Sausage links didn’t taste good and the egg omelets seemed to have been frozen. The waffles were good though. Aside from the breakfast, perfect stay!
Great hotel! Front desk clerk was very NICE! Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good. We came into Florence for the Renaissance Fair and we will be back again next year and plan to stay here again! Would recommend this hotel. They let us check in early also which was a big help!
Located near Downtown and central to many restaurants, this was a great find. The room was spacious with a comfortable sofa for reading. It came with and a large TV. The lobby and rooms were immaculately clean. Would stay here again.
While traveling to the Eastern Seaboard, I booked the Hampton Inn Midtown (online) because it had a restaurant within walking distance. Googling made me think that information was incorrect so I cancelled that booking to reserve a room at the Hampton Inn Downtown. (It took way too much phone time while I could have been enjoying the scenery.) Anway, it turned out the downtown location does not have a restaurant within walking distance open on a Sunday night, while the Midtown location has an Applebees next door. Confusing, so far? Yes, that was how I felt. Restaurants within walking distance of the hotel are important to DH and me. Once we unload the car after a long day of driving, we much prefer to walk to dinner, chain restaurant or not. So I reserved, cancelled and reserved again. The Midtown location desk clerk was awesome. The property was clean, the room was nice, the bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was better than adequate. It was one of the nicest places we stayed on our 11 day trip. I recommend this hotel with no qualms.
Our stay at this Hampton Inn met all our expectations. We especially enjoyed the choices of the complimentary breakfast. All the staff that we came into contact with were very pleasant and professional.
Snoozing at Hampton by Hilton. What a wonderful sleep!!! Feeling Secure and welcomed. Nice to know that the Hampton Inns are still as neat and employees nice and exercising the spirit of " we are happy you are our guest. TIt makes for a easy peaceful stay.
The hotel was nice and the staffers were hospitable. The amenities are few. The breakfast was just okay as compared to other hotels. The pancake-thing that was an egg with yellow stuff running out was a real turn off. Overall the staff was kind and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
We were evacuates from Florida bc of hurricane Irma and this hotel and the local churches went above and beyond for all of us. Everything was great from staff to room cleanliness to breakfast. Great place!
