Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites FLORENCE NORTHEAST

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn several times. The staff is very friendly (like you would expect in the South) and the hotel is very clean. It also is in a very good location....lots of restaurants and shopping areas, and also near major highways.

Great room very clean. Next to places to eat. Only downside is the 100 person high school band staying there. Very loud and annoying. Manager did great to help to accommodate the other quests. The breakfast was good but having to feed all those kids made some of the items not completely cook.

I recently stay here for 5 days due to fleeing Ga from the hurricane. The hotel and staff were very nice. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was nice. I was even surprised that they had a room with little bag goodies for all the evacuation people staying at the hotel. I thought that was so nice as I was traveling with 4 children. I actually plan to return here on a real vacation next year to see the sights. Thank you for your hospitality.

Remember my review about Coldwater Inn and how we booked a smoking room but when we got there all they had were non-smoking? Well the same thing happened here at the Holiday Inn when my wife and I stayed for Valentine's Day. The difference is that the Holiday Inn made things right instead of basically saying "oh well" about it. The room was clean, the locaton was very convenient, the hotel was quiet, the lady at the reception desk was super friendly, and in all we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you, Holiday Inn! :)

Barry and staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. On Monday nights 5-7 pm, management offers a small appetizer selections in the 'breakfast' room. Breakfast was also very nice and lots of choices. Recommend highly. Our suite was spacious and as I bring my own exercise equipment, I had lots of room to do my kettlebell workout.

Upon arrival and through my stay the staff was super friendly especially front desk expert Kinzie Allen, very professional and courteous, she definitely knows how to captivate her guests. I definitely recommend this Hotel. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast area also well kept.

Came down to watch the High School Worlds National Championship. Not to far from where the teams launch and weigh-in. Tons of places to eat at around the hotel. Quick check-in and staff were very welcoming when I checked in.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Check in and check out were a breeze. The breakfast had a good variety of both hot and continental type items - all of which were tasty. The room was spacious and very clean - the bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and amenities. Mattress was comfortable and there was a choice of soft or firm pillows. Would stay here again next time we are in the area

We stayed four nights in a top-floor king suite. It was easily the best room and service we'd found so far out of 15 similarly-price places on our road trip. We slept very well. The suite has a door between the bedroom and sitting/kitchenette area with the bathroom off that side too, so it was easy to keep the bedroom dark and quiet (but see below). Service was excellent, too - very attentive desk staff, housekeeping actually followed the rules about not replacing towels we'd hung up, room was very clean, breakfast was Holiday Inn Express standard (hence adequate). There's a half-way decent steak house across the street. There's a self-serve $4 wash+dry guest laundry on the ground floor. The only issue we had was truck drivers parking refrigerated trailers on the street, adding some to the background noise (which was otherwise low - the hotel is a block back from the main road). Nothing the hotel could do about that, but maybe park your own car on the street in front of your room so a truck can't?! Didn't spoil our stay in any case.

The service was good as usual. This is always a reliable hotel and the location is convenient. The breakfast was average but good Holiday Inn fare. There are always lots of families with kids at this location.
