The staff was friendly and helpful. They were happy to recommend restaurants and places to visit. They were accommodating with our schedule. Felt very safe in the area and the the hotel has door codes on each level for added security. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall Gogò Petit is a nice place to stay at night. The owner is lovely and was happy to answer any of our questions! However, we did have an issue with our room being left unlocked everyday after being cleaned/restocked. As people who travelled from very, very far- we have all of our important documents, ID’s, and money in our bags, we did not feel comfortable knowing our things could have been taken by anyone else in the hotel throughout the day. The wifi worked great- if that’s something crucial to anyone reading this! It is not as centrally located as the advertisement says, it was maybe a 20 minute walk, but still close enough for the price. We did have very loud construction outside of our window every morning. You have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to the hotel- so be aware just for anyone who may have accessibility needs (however there is a small elevator one you get up, between the hotels 1st and second floors). This hotel worked for us just for a few nights.

This was such a unique and interesting building with a lot of character. We were looking for something in Florence that was away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, and this location delivered. It is a bit of a walk to things (only about 15-20 minutes) but was completely worth it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome. There were some steps up to the main lobby, but we knew about those and they weren't a problem. Check-in was very easy and communication was excellent. The staff was simply amazing - so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again if we return to Florence.

This is an out of the way totally unique hotel. It is under renovations which can only improve its quantness. The owner was extremely helpful and made my stay very comfortable if even for one night. It rained which ruined sight seeing but not my spirit as the city was magnificent.

Small Guest House, good value.

Got the check-in instructions, easy to find. In a quiet side street by the river. They have 7 rooms. Its a guest house style. My room was a bit noisy due to heavy construction across the street. Riim had good size, was clean, everything worked. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was continental. A good stay, great value, easy to sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay at Gogo petit hotel. The room was spacious, modern and clean. The staffs there are very helpful, after I told them I am a light sleeper, they helped to locate me in a quite room, I finally had a good sleep after previous cities. Location is quiet, a bit far from main tourist area, but still walkable.

So, this is not a hotel, it is basically a glorified Airbnb. If you have accessibility issues do NOT book this hotel. You have to haul your bags up 3-4 giant flights of stairs, and sometimes the lights turned off halfway up or down. The rooms themselves were nice and a fairly decent size, they had a coffeemaker and a safe, as well as a little storage unit for clothes. The bathroom in our room was ok, it had a bit of a smell because the water pooled in the shower tiles since they were not flat, and it would have been nice to have a fan in the bathroom. Their room service consisted of making the bed, that's it - we had to ask for more toilet paper, they didn't change the towels or the bathmat that was by the shower the entire time we were there (4 nights), so by the end it was pretty gross. They didn't sweep the floor in the bathroom or room, so again, it was pretty gross by the end of the stay (2 girls with long hair). I don't care that the sheets weren't changed because I would only do my sheets at home once a week or so, but to not provide any new towels or even stock the toilet paper or sweep the floors is not great. Even if new towels are only provided every other day that would be fine. We didn't have the provided breakfast so cannot comment on that. The person we communicated with over WhatsApp was quick to respond. Not sure if I'd stay here again. Location was ok, have to be ok to walk places.

We arrived at the hotel around 10:30 am on the morning of check in on June 9th. Left our luggage at the hotel with the staff. The receptionist said that the room is not ready yet. They informed us that the luggage will be taken to the room and the key will be left hanging on the door once it is ready. We arrived back to the hotel around 11 pm. The key would not open the door and no staff present at the hotel. Called the hotel contact and the manager came to the hotel and could not open the room either. He called the city to open the door and told us it is not an emergency and would be 1 or 2 am. We waited at the hotel till 12:30 am and he arranged to place us at a hotel 15 min from the present hotel. We received an email from Gogo petit at 10:30am on 6/10 that the room is ready. Since our luggage got stuck inside the room, we were in our unchanged clothes since 4:30 am on 6/9. We end up staying 1 night at Gogo. However, the hotel charged us for 2 nights totaling over 520 euro. The hotel he places us was 130 euro. The manager did not charge us the 130 euro or waive the charge for the 1 night for the major inconvenience.
