This B&B is charming. It's very central, and a very reasonable price. The room I stayed in was small but sweet, and cleaned to a high standard every day. Whilst the manager speaks little English, he put every effort into helping me (and other guests that I saw) as required. There are fridges, kettles and safes in the rooms and breakfast is bread and cakes, fruits and yoghurts, meats and cheeses. The wifi is fast. It's 3 minutes walk from the main train station.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with great location from bus station and train station, just 10 mins walk to hotel. Centrally located and everything is a walking distance to all sightseeing areas. The room is beautiful with antique furnishings, very very clean. Breakfast is included and you cannot miss it. I would highly recommend staying here, the owner is a wonderful person, always ready to help. Cheers Marc

The location steps from the train station couldn't be better. Our room was on the busy street side and yet was a quiet as a church. Excellent bed and lux bath and very good breakfast. Price was low for Florence. Beautiful Florence palazzo setting. Highly recommended.

Tastefully decorated rooms, spacious beautiful bathrooms, friendly service, good breakfast in a lovely dining room, strong wifi and great location. What more does one need! We stayed for 3 nights in January and it was great value. Would definitely stay again. Place looks exactly like the photos. Stop looking and book this place. You won't regret it.

My husband and I traveled by train from Venice to Florence to spent some nights before heading to Rome. This B&B is a great and quiet place and of course it's a perfect choice if you're looking to save money. It's located 10 minutes walk to Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Comfortable bed, with A/C, nice bathroom and incredible italian breakfast. It's one of these places where you feel part of the family. Its owner was very friendly and booked for us a tour we wanted to take to go to Tuscany. In summary, it's a perfect place to which without a doubt I will be back again when visiting Florence.

This B&B was tucked away about 20 mins (walk) from the main city area but close to the train station. Room was well furnished and clean. Great breakfast spread provided. Owner was friendly and helpful even though he spoke little English. Only 4 stars though cause the heating in our room wasn't working well and there were issues with our bathroom/shower as well. Overall a good deal for the price we paid but not sure if I would stay there again.

We traveled by train to several major cities on this trip so we wanted nice accommodations within walking distance from the station in a safe neighbourhood. Il Marzocco was the perfect place for us. Comfortable and charming with A/C ( a must for us!), a roomy bathroom with large shower, a nice view overlooking a garden, and a delicious breakfast in a beautifully decorated room. Massimo's brother Emo greeted us and was very helpful and friendly during our 2 night stay. Even though his English and our Italian were minimal, we communicated just fine. We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and main sights all on foot. Day or night, we felt secure in the area. The B & B was very quiet. We had a key to the main entrance so we could come and go as we pleased. Even in the rain, we were able to pull our luggage to the station which was less than a 10 minute walk. A lovely establishment with caring owners. Grazie mille!

Spent 2 nights in this lovely B and B with some friends. We got 3 of the B and B's 7 rooms. The room was quite small for two people, however the bathroom was clean with hot shower and full amenities. Breakfast was good, Emo makes the best cappucino and hot Chocolate in all of Italy :) Our hosts Massimo and Emo were really helpful. Emo even prepared breakfast earlier than the schedule on the day of our departure so we could have breakfast before we left. It looks like an apartment building from the outside. Rooms are on the 2nd floor, but there is a lift going upstairs. Will stay here again if I get the chance.

Spacious room and bathroom. There was a heater in the bathroom which was good especially when you just stepped out of the shower. The room was quite beautiful with ceiling frescoes and wooden furniture providing an old world Italian feel. The B&B is located within 5 mins' walk from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station but we thought it was much longer/further the first time we tried to find it. Once you round the bend to Viale Fratelli Rosselli where a traffic light is, it is the first building on your left.

What a gem we enjoyed during our recent stay in Florence. We wanted a place close to the train station since this was our mode of travel. We were welcomed with open arms into the lovely and clean B&B. There are small and large rooms. We opted for the small which suited us just fine since we only slept there. The room comes equipped with tea service and safe. the bathroom and toiletries were 5 stars. Every morning we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast served in the inn's dining room . The selection , including, cappuccinos, is beautiful and generous. Even though on a busy street, the Inn is quiet. The owner made some great recommendations for dining which were right on. Also he arranged all our tours ahead of time. Elevator available.
