Check in to the hotel was smooth and relatively quick.... everything went downhill from there. I was told to get get pool towels from the front desk - after requesting multiple times over the course of 3 hours by walking to the front desk and being told towels would be delivered... finally towels arrived. staff suggested that I use the towels from our room.
Next up - restaurant service... Limited menu selection was disappointing. The menu from lunch to dinner was basically the same. I ordered lunch to be delivered poolside. My colleague and I ordered at the same time - while her meal was delivered in reasonable time.... Upon she finished her lunch, mine had still not been delivered. I had to go back to the restaurant and chase down my lunch. Then came dinner time.... As we had a flight to catch, i figured 1.5 hours was sufficient to sit, order and eat our dinner and leave for the airport. After seating ourselves, and waiting 15 minutes to be noticed by the staff... finally went to the bar and told them we were ready to order. Server came: we ordered our drinks and meals immediately. Approx. 30 minutes later the server can to tell us that the dish we ordered was no longer available and the choose something else. Why were we not made aware of this at the time, or within minutes of ordering? And finally, checking out of the hotel we asked about the taxi service we booked at check-in, earlier that day, we found out had NOT been booked. Had to wait additional time for!
