This is an OK hotel for an overnight stay only. I got into Nadi at 2am so this was a cheap option for me. Room big, bed comfy, bathroom big and clean. Breakfast isn't the best but by all means plentiful and was included in the room charge. Would I stay here again? Yes I would but only as an overnighter.
If there is an option to give zero stars I will. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in under Accor group being a platinum member. Don’t get me wrong. Just Novotel Nadi. Other Novotels age fabulous. First up, room was opened half way through my sleep, lucky I chained the room from inside, got an explanation later at he counter (I have to walk to the front desk and asked) as they mentioned some lady claimed to have lost that key or some sort and they just clone the key but he said he accompanied the guest to the room then realized the mistake. Of course my key doesn’t work and I have to walk back to re code it the night I came back. Apology were given, ok Breakfast on the day of check out. The egg lady was nice and cheerful throughout the stay except on 18/Nov Saturday morning. Grumpy face and after 15 min ordering my egg nothing came. I have the waitress phone the chef and she came out without a word of apology as she totally forgotten what she’s suppose to do. Omg what kind of attitude and service is this? You don’t expect it from a claimed 4 stars hotel. Room is spacious and amenities are sufficient however cleanliness should improve. I usually don’t grunt but this stay is too much to swallow. So stay unless all hotels are booked and unless absolutely necessary. On the contrary, Mercure offers similar room and amenities and yes generally staffs are half baked at services but they are at least consistent and willing to accept mistakes. Novotel Nadi? Nope, sorry no more stay.
I stayed with my colleagues at this property in June. We got robbed in the middle of the night having a gun pointed at us. Two men first throwed a stone to break into the room. Avoid this property to all costs. It is also under police investigation.
We stayed here for a night transiting through Nadi. Although reasonably-priced and well located for the airport, I wouldn’t stay here again. A few reasons why include getting a downgraded room from the one we booked that was right next to a marque set out for a wedding with pumping music blaring which made getting the 4 year old to sleep interesting, no milk, no wake up call that had been arranged, and pretty dour service.
May not suit beach seeking tourists but the location is central, handy to the airport and Nadi business areas. Small golf course on site and views across to the Sleeping Giant. Staff go out of their way to help, nothing is too much trouble for them.
This is a solid hotel with most of what you would expect from a Novotel. Staff were all very good. Warm, friendly and always helpful. The property has large grounds so feels spacious. The pool is excellent and well used I had an Executive Room on a corner so a large balcony as well. The room was OK. The floor lamp did not function and there is precious little other lighting so it felt a little dim. The bed was very comfortable. Being on the end of the building made for weak wifi signal but that is a minor thing. A highlight is the bar/restaurant. Good quality food, well prepared with a great team who remembered people. I would return next time I am in Nadi.
Decided to book a room in Novotel Nadi. Very poor experience. The people were nice but the rooms were rundown. Poor maintenance, beds sinking in, not even a bottle of water in the room. Toiletries were ok but the water pressure in the bath went down dramatically if the washbasin was being used. The hotel has only one restaurant with very limited menu. The bread crumbled in the hand, chicken and garlic bread were cold and tasteless. When could one stay there? If you have an early morning flight and the airlines puts you up there or you are attending a conference and the organizers have put you there. Though there are better options bear the airport.
Positives, gym is great, pool is OK, coffee machine is a plus, check in staff were great Issues Air conditioning in the rooms does not work, makes more noise and does no cooling even when the outdoor temp drops Ceiling fan ticks, so slowly drives you insane Bathroom fan bearings stuffed, so sound like a plane engine Bathroom looks dirty as the grout is stained In room dining selections is crap, food was average at best and over priced. I was supplied a plastic knife and fork for in-room dining!! Breakfast is a joke, cold, old and over priced Staff serviced the room and took 2 towels and left 1?? Your business suites are tired, and in need of maintenance, new carpet, bathroom clean up, and new beds Internet is 3rd world, slow, unreliable, and hardly usable Restaurant staff are look like they are forced to smile and be polite, looks fake and insincere. For a Novotel, this place is poor. I have stayed here many times over the past couple of years as it convenient, but no longer.
Conveniently located close to the airport, and its a short 10 minute walk down the hotels driveway to the supermarket. we stayed for 2 nights before hopping across to the smaller islands. The rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds, a bar fridge, kettle and tea & coffee supplies provided. The bathrooms are a little tired and could do with a renovation but I think the hotel is priced to reflect this. The rooms back onto the hotels gardens and our kids enjoyed running around. The breakfasts are OK but there can be a long wait at the egg station when busy and we did notice that once breakfast was over the eggs stayed out for quite some time in the hot sun. There is no gluten free option for cereals/ bread or pastries. We didn't really find the birds a problem. My young kids really like the layout of the hotel and its grounds and the staff were friendly.
We usually stay here fairly regularly, have done for the past 7 years. The staff are usually very cheerful and remember your name, very hospitable. We have had issues in the past 6 months or so with our bookings. We will call and make a booking and we arrive to find there is no booking for us! I had the same happen yesterday, arrived to find there is no booking yet again. To add to that there was no room ready so I chose to go away and come back instead of waiting there. It was well after 3pm when I got into the room eventually. The room itself was fine but there were a few oddities.. there was a washing line broken over the bathtub a the phone didn't work. They have put in new coffee machines with capsules on the plus side. Not sure I want to arrive to no booking again so will think twice about coming back.
