the hotel is conveniently located near the airport so it is good if you are staying one day waiting for another flight. Rooms need a bit of refurbishment but they are nicely set overlooking a nice garden. Friday buffet and buffet breakfast are good.

The hotel is in urgent need of a renovation/upgrade. The Novotel rooms are very dated and dark. The AC works but is noisy. The restaurant is ok, and staff are friendly. The positives: it is inexpensive, and very close to the airport. However, I would rather stay in a better hotel and options in Nadi are quite broad.

Stayed here twice and both times had a lovely time. The rooms were pleasant and had all the amenities we required. Our air condition was broke and after calling the reception the handy man was in after only 10 minutes and had it working in no time was very good service indeed. The room service was fast and efficient and the food was delicious for the asking price. I have to mention the breakfast was also a lovely spread. My husband and I especially enjoyed the rooms closer to the pool they were amazing with a superb view of the mountains. The stuff were very helpful and pleasant thumbs up to them .

Novotel Nadi provides friendly service and to guests day in and day out! The location is perfect as it is more closely located near the Airport and this makes it more convenient for guests to make time to get to the airport on time. All in all, thank you Novotel!

Stayed here for a night while waiting for a flight. We chose this hotel as it was near the airport and included a continental free breakfast, saving us the hassle of having to venture into town or the airport for food. The hotel foyer, gardens and grounds were nice - however, when it came to rooms and food, the hotel was a real let down. Our room was spacious, however it felt damp, smelt musty and was quite dark even during the day. The bathroom was outdated and could really use an update. The kitchen facilities in the room were nice though, as was our view over the golf course/mountains. The breakfast was a complete let down. Food options were limited and nothing looked nor tasted appetising. It didn't help that miner birds were flying all over the tables both inside and outside, scavenging for scraps. The coffee was also a let down. The staff were uninterested and unhelpful. The food being this poor was disappointing and surprising, given the hotel is 4-stars and situated on the mainland. We stayed on islands where the food was spectacular despite being far out at sea. Will be trying other hotels near the airport next time if we need to.

We chose this for a short stay between landing at the airport and boarding our cruise. Its pretty good compared to a lot of other choices in the area. We were picked up a the airport by the shuttle which was very helpful. The place is dated and a bit shabby and basic. The pool was not quite as clean as one would like. Restaurant and bar are average and breakfast acceptable but nothing special. Get a package for this rather than pay separately. Its a short trip to Namaka and airport and heaps cheaper than the Denarau rack rate. There is a computer just outside the restaurant for anyone to use the internet which was handy. No wifi though.

I had the reviews prior to staying and even though the General Manager replied saying that are continually improving their standards and service,, I went with an open mind with actions being undertaken. Whilst the service was wonderful and friendly and food was adequate - that was it. I enquired and was advised by email that a shuttle would collect me from the airport. After waiting for 40 minutes I phoned and was told they don't have a shuttle service? What ??? I was booked into a standard room but due to unavailability, I was upgraded to their superior room. I don't know what was superior about it. The room had very little superior about it. The front door was filthy, their was minimal natural lighting and with all the lights turned on it was difficult to read anything. The room smelt musty so I was sneezing all the time, the toilet paper holder hadn't been wiped down. There were finger marks everywhere. The couch was so well worn that you sunk in, so very little support. I really think the Novotel HQ need to visit and put investment in this hotel so it meets their overall standard as I don't think the General Manager is auctioning any of the comments received. The Mecure in Nadi where I stayed only 2 months ago was far superior than the Novotel....and cheaper.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and found it to be really good. I was a little worried when reading the reviews on here but our room was pretty good. The room (411) had all the basic amenities you would expect in a hotel room. I was not disappointed as it had a comfortable bed, aircon, a small TV and a small outdoor area with deck chairs. We had a white bathroom which would show up everything except it was cleaned spotless. The breakfast was good, a bit of variety. The pool was a lovely and it is fantastic that they have a tennis court, pool table and ping pong table to keep guests entertained. If you a tourist this hotel it a bit away from everything tourist wise. Nadi iteself, I found did not have a lot to do. I would stay at this hotel again but not for a holiday as I prefer to be at a resort.

For our Xmas and new year holiday we decided to stay at Novotel Fiji. Rooms are furnished for sleeping , two queen size beds two uncomfortable chairs and a coffee table too low for anything. Shower was a little grubby and the hot water ran hot and cold at will (I mean really hot or freezing. Drapes in room did not close so asked to have fixed , immediate response , but on our return found when I pulled the draw cord one drape opened and draw cord became rather long . Called front desk and maintenance man came in minutes ,said it is fixed , but you have to open and close by hand not draw cord (not fixed .and a rather belligerent attitude ) House keeping was not up to scratch carpet vact once tiles swept once in 2 weeks. Restaurant menu has little variety but the pizzas are great.. New years eve was special BBQ (not) and had to book a table , but were not told , found out by accident . Draught beer ran out on Xmas eve ,and was unavailable for 4 days . Special night meals are HO-HUM Staff in restaurant and front desk are wonderful friendly helpful and always happy. I have just returned from a family vacation in the Fiji Islands during which, on the return trip we needed to make alternate arrangements due to a significant flight delay to our departing flight from Nadi. Since the rescheduled flight departed at 04:20 (am) we needed a hotel near to the airport. The Novotel has a number of features which recommend it - 2 minutes from the airport, well situated, part of the Accor group, friendly and helpful staff, a reasonable dining room, the rooms are reasonably clean and better hotels are on Denarau Island which is at least 20 minutes further from the airport. It also has a number of problems - the rooms are tired, in all three rooms we used, the air conditioning was not working, many light bulbs were not working. Probably the biggest negative is the air conditioning in the Fiji climate. In summary, an acceptable alternative for the described situation but Accor would do its' reputation a favour if it took a little better care of the property.
