Great hotel with great location, awesome staff, clean and with a Bar and restaurant, the staff is friendly and helpful, walking distance to mall, convenience stores and great variety of restaurants. Highly recommend it

First of all, they gave us the key for our room which was occupied. They gave us another room and the same happen with other guest and they open our room when we were there. Our rooms were ok but to be exigent for this kind of hotel you would think it should be more clean, the floor is so dusty. And the worst experience, was during the dinner, the food is included except the drinks. So we were having a nice evening and we paid by credit card 250 dirhams for just 5 drinks which in other restaurant with the same amount we ate a full meal. At the end we didn’t finish our bottle of water so as we had the right we took it for our room. We were just entering the lift when one of the waiter came running demanding and pointing the bottle of water. As he doesn’t speak english we didn’t understand, at the end we show him the check already paid, instead of apologising he just turned around and insulted us with signs. I mean we are supposed to be in a good hotel, this is definitely a really bad experience.

Pros: -Breakfast. Traveled with a group which means a lot of people dining all at once = a lot of turnover and fresh food. Tasty and plentiful. Great service at breakfast as well. -The room: Quiet. We were on the main street and opened the window at night as there wasn't AC and we just needed a breeze. The location was still quiet even on a main street! The bathroom was beautiful. Good Wi-Fi through the whole hotel and into the room -Location: for me this was a plus. There are bars/lounges and restaurants nearby. There is also a mall 5 minutes walk away with a grocery store So-so: -Only public areas were smoking allowed. It would be nice to have even a small area that was non-smoking. -Spa: we booked a massage through our tour guide because the front desk couldn't make an appointment for us. When we arrived, we were led to a dark room together and left alone. No indication if we were having the massage there and if we should undress or if we were waiting. 10 minutes later, we had walked through the rest of the spa to find our massage therapists and were led to separate rooms.

Hotel was very helpful in providing an English speaking guide to take us into the Medina. He led us to the vendors of what we wanted to buy, mostly hand made rugs. Bargaining is a must anywhere in this country. Always negotiate cab fare before you get in cab! Imane & Badr were very helpful when our friend fell ill. One got us a doctor and one when to the pharmacy for us.

Typical city hotel. Good sized room, pleasant staff, located near shopping center. The breakfast was pretty standard for Morocco. Because my wife was not feeling well the day after we checked in, I was glad to find a Carrefour in the shopping center a block away in order to purchase water, snacks, and even French fries from a Burger King Hotel is conveniently located to medina.

If you want a Hotel that is well placed this is it. If you want a place just to sleep and use as a base to see Fez this is it. Everything in the hotel is just OK, nothing to get all excited about. They did clean our clothes overnight, brought to them at 8 pm and was done the next morning by 8 am. Prices were very low to clean.

We were travelling with Gate 1 so check in was very quick. We were given the wifi pass code for the lobby but not our rooms - staff member was checking the A/C and gave us the password. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were average size and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Pool was cold but it was October - pool bar staff were friendly. Hotel is close to a mall and many restaurants.

OK, so the rooms are nice. Modern and quite spacious. I don't know the function of the decorative sliding door, but it can be ignored. Location is handy for exploring the city. That's the positive side, here's the not-so-good stuff: Staff is helpful but need training. Menu was lacking half the items listed including a standard steak and the local speciality (pastillia). Snack bar better, but they need training in us westerners use of alchohol. Never did I see a more painful attempt to open a bottle of champagne. We made use of the in-house hammam and massage option. Booking assistant does not really speak or understand english and we were not sure if our requested timeslot was as we wanted it. Waited half an hour before being fetched. No instructions or help available, as staff doesn't speak english. Breakfast buffet... bland and boring. Safetydepositbox not working.

Great location with an outdoor area that reminds me of Las Ramblas. Room is very tired. Pillows were actually hard and the mattress was like laying on a board. Safe technology is 20 years old! Room was clean though, internet great, and breakfast was EXCELLENT. Very comprehensive breakfast selections. Stayed as part of a group tour.

This hotel came to my rescue after an awful experience at the Menzeh Zalagh Hotel. They allowed me to check in at 11:00 hrs. Room 319 was very comfortable and overlooked the swimming pool, the quiet side of the hotel. The room had a safe and secure WiFi, along with the standard of bathroom fittings and toiletries you would expect to find in a hotel of this rating. One strange thing though was that while they had a kettle and crockery, there was no complimentary tea or coffee. There was, however a fridge available. The restaurant service could have been better. Breakfast was very good and while I was given a dinner menu by the maitre d upon entering on Friday evening, I learned that only a buffet was available. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the food on display and at MAD 200 it was a reasonable price for a restaurant of this calibre. My flight on the day of departure was very early and I asked for a wake-up call at 05:30 hrs, which didn't materialise. I was awake early though thanks to my internal alarm clock and I had breakfast at the earlier arranged time of 06:00 hrs. (Breakfast usually begins at 07:30 hrs.) After dinner on the Friday evening, I thought it would be a good idea to settle my bill so that there was no rush early on the Saturday morning. I'm glad I did this because room service had been charged to my room, 319, which was incorrect. It should have been applied to room 219. The investigation into this by the night manager took about 15 minutes which would have been valuable time cutting into my departure if it had happened when I left the hotel at 06:30 hrs. I am pleased to say that the taxi I had arranged to take me to the airport arrived on time and the cost of only MAD 200 was added to my bill. The journey time at that time of day took only 20 minutes. The comfort and service, in spite of the hiccups I have highlighted here, were far superior to the Menzeh Zalagh Hotel.
