Fargo stop on way to Minot

We’ve stayed here before and it was really nice and clean. Not so much this time. Hallway carpet really needs shampooing, dead crickets in stairwell, no bar soap, body wash, lotion, or conditioner in bathroom. Shower liner needed replacing - had the pink coloring on the bottom :-(. Breakfast was ok. General maintenance was on poor side (walls need washing/painting). Sheets and bathroom clean. Room a little small. Said I reserved a queen bed, but it had to be a full size bed.

Would have given a better review but they had extremely expired milk in the fridge for breakfast and I didn't realize till after I had taken a sip. Other than that the stay was decent.

Virtually no Wifi is the big issue for us. Jacuzzi was also closed for repairs. Multiple channels for TV listed on their guide were not available. Very few toiletries supplied in room. The valet carts available had wonky wheels, thus were had to push or steer.

Room was not clean , hot tub not working,pancake machine not working, thermostat not working in our room. No extra blankets, not even a fly swatter to kill the flys that were bugging us in our room, no extra pillows. Biggest thing , we checked out early because our daughter got released from the hospital early and they refused to credit us for it didn’t measure up to aGOOD hotel. night we didn’t stay. For the price we paid

We have stayed at Microtel before and had been great, we stayed back in March for Doctors appointments and was realy close to Sanford Hospital. However the most recent stay was not very pleasant. First morning at breakfast was an absolute joke, out of everything it was only 8am coffee machine wasn't working, the entire 4 day stay each breakfast was a disaster. I asked for more towels one evening and must of woke up the desk clerk in the back, had got and eye roll from the young lady. Our hallway on our floor every evening smelled like marijuana. We just stayed here back in March and was great, thinking Microtel Corruption needs to check into Management.

Service was great and it was clean as always but there was absolutely no coffee which was not good machine was broken but at least bring in extra machine to supply coffee in the morning and food for breakfast was very sparse. We had to wait long time for trays to be refilled. Not our best stay just because of the food and coffee

Bathroom leak with mold

We had to change rooms because the first they put us in had a huge water stain in the ceiling of the bathroom that also looked like it was black mold. Was concerned that the rest of the hotel might be in the same condition.
