This little hotel backs up to the woods off highway 23, just before you get into Eureka Springs. All the rooms are decorated both creatively and uniquely. It is a work in progress however. Our room needed new carpeting, but the TV was enclosed in a spectacular armoire. There was no coffee pot in our room, which was disappointing. On the good side, this hotel encourages camaraderie among the guests, by having a fire pit with benches all around it! Overall, a great experience. We were greeted by Darmien at the counter, and he’s very personable.
We arrived and the process was disorganized - seemed to be in a tizzy at 6:30 p.m. to get our room ready. In process of switching owners so - okay. Get to the room - seems clean but tears and runners in the carpet, kinda shabby for $102.00! Almost ran out of toilet paper - no spare roll - really? Air conditioning was good, bed was good - well except when we taxied back from the bar there was a drunken stranger passed out on it! Yep - I noticed strange shoes as we walked in, then a shirt in the floor - wife pointed out that there was a person on the bed - rolled up in the bedspread. I checked to make sure nothing was missing - all was well. I woke the guy and he finally get his shirt and shoes on and left our room - went next door(which was probably HIS room). Only thing I could assume was that he locked himself out and staggered to the desk so they could let him in and they must have ASKED him which room was him and they let him in with the master key(yes - old fashioned metal keys). Would have been nice if they'd double-checked to see if it WAS his room. No harm done - but - OMG!!!!!
This is an old school motel that they’re trying to update. We reserved a “luxury” suite on what they call the Mountain View side (more like a tree covered hillside). While the furnishings were nice, and the bed comfortable, we tried to use the jacuzzi but debris kept coming out of the jets so we finally gave up. We also lost food in the fridge as it stopped working overnight. The management did give us a $60 refund.
We went to Eureka for the night for a family illness. This motel was super close to where the family lived. We got a rooms here. My room, #10, 2as so comfortable. The bed was a king, memory foam mattress, comfortable pillows, the room was attractive, very clean, not a speck of dust or dirt. The other room had 2 queens. They loved my mattress in my room, but again the room was spotless. The manager was very nice. This was February, so I cannot speak about the pool, but it does gave one. Very good place to stay in Eureka Springs
Not what we expected. Very large room, but half was carpet and half time, very cold! Bed was very hard! Loved the old furniture. Yet it smelled of old! Our best part of the room was the Jacuzzi tub!! We were on the bottom floor and heard every foot step of the people above us, all night!
The hotel is dirty. Spiders in room. Woke us up at 9:00am . We were only staying one night and check out was at 11:00.hand written receipt. Charged more than the price on Internet .My sister and brother in law hand an awful experience at this hotel
We decided to make a last minute trip to Eureka Springs and it was during Corvette Weekend, so there were no rooms to be had, until I found Brydan Suites. They were very accommodating and friendly. It's really a beautiful place. Not too far from town: about a mile from Main Street. Nice rooms; great place to keep your stuff and get some sleep. It was quiet, the staff was gracious, and the grounds are gorgeous, especially the backside of the place. It is a very surprising change from the street side.
We stayed here for 2 nights and we have nothing negative at all to say about this place! Clean rooms and a very friendly young man at the desk, who will go out of his way to accomodate all guests. We highly recommend this place. We will be back.
When we arrived, we were told that the room type we booked through Hotels.com was unavailable. We were offered a suite for a $30 upcharge per night. For that cost, we had to deal with a broken bed and lack of amenities. I was told that they would fix the bed. However, the best "fix" they could do was to provide a folded blanket to even-out the bed. But for our aching backs they offered a discount - for a FUTURE stay. We will NEVER book this motel again. This is UNACCEPTABLE! Tgey have a sign at the front desk that reads, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." They need an addendum to that says, "everybody else may get screwed-over at the owner's discretion."
Checked in and was brought to our room old school style by the desk manager, shown the room and how everything worked, a very nice touch. We had asked for an early check in and a late check out, both of which they were happy to oblige. They apologized that there was a renovation going on, but I didn't see it, everything we saw was fresh and clean and neat. The suite we had was spacious and faced the mountain, with a nice deck out back with lounge furniture and even a hammock. They warned us that there was a new "employee" named Alice roaming around the back, which was their new welcoming committee cat, who likes to sit on the stairs going up during breakfast time to say hi to the guests. The room was quite spacious with a huge jetted tub in the middle of the room, the furniture was Asian style and a welcome touch from the usual cookie cutter hotel rooms we normally stay in. Bed was comfortable and very clean, very difficult to not sleep in past when you wanted to wake up. The only very slight issues I would mention would be, it is a hike to downtown, advise using the trolley to downtown, (as the front desk recommended), and the continental breakfast was very small and almost not worth mentioning except you will need to eat elsewhere as it is barely an appetizer, although the pigs in a blanket were quite delicious.
