We've stayed in Springfield in the past at other establishments. They've all been in poor condition. So we were not expecting much. We were very happy with the attention of the staff to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We will be staying there again.

Nice size room. We had a suite that had two queen beds and then a separate area with a couch and TV. The couch cushions you could tell were old by the dip in the couch but we really appreciated the extra space. Free parking and plenty of it. It was a nice stay and we would stay there again. The room is a bit dated but the beds were comfy. The hotel is don the street from the hospital so you may hear ambulances durning the stay. One nice thing they offered was a few of the restaurants nearby offer a discount if you showed room key.

The staff was great. The rooms have very poor lighting and dark moody colors resulting in a depressing environment. The bathroom floor grout was black rather than the white under the sink where people don't walk. Carpet seemed about as dirty.

Everyone, from the front desk, cleaning staff, and breakfast staff were helpful and friendly. The carpets and paint showed a bit of wear but the facility was clean. Pool chlorine smell was a tad overpowering, but that may be necessary.
