room was nice would have enjoyed the balcony more if the weather waa nicer all in all was ok

Stayed three nights and was very happy with our room and balcony.

We booked this hotel for a baseball tournament, and everyone we were with had issues with this hotel and made the comment "we will never stay here again". The staff that we dealt with was amazing. They tried really had to please us, but very early on it became very obvious that they were under staffed. The whole three days we were there they only had one person at the front desk checking people in, answering phone calls, taking phone reservations, and answering phone calls from people's rooms. If you called the desk and asked for something to be brought up to your room the front desk person had to get it and run it up to you. The front desk person was even our maitance person! It appeared to me that management doesn't want to pay to properly staff there hotel, which is completely unacceptable, especially on a weekend when they are fully booked. It was 100 degrees outside during our stay, and they put us in a room on the 3rd floor with a broken air conditioner. They knew it was broken before we checked in! Our friends had a peep hole that you could be see out of, and our other friends had one that was backwards, and you could see into their room from the hallway!!! Our comforter had rips in it, and our room was so old the bathroom was 80's wall paper that was peeling and blue moldy tile all over the bathroom

Cheap but you get what you pay for... the whole place smelled like wet dog.

Great location, nice large rooms, good staff. Have stayed here several times.

We loved our stay here in our oversized room. Nice and comfortable room. Would recommend if staying in this area. Hotel check in/check out staff could use improvement, but overall a great stay. Breakfast was great too nice selection to get you going in the morning.

Average hotel with the exception of the terrible heater that is very loud and turns on/off all night long. Please do something about those

Our power was still out after 3 days, so we decided to stay here. We were surprised as to the size of the rooms and the great breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through.

New stylish hotel near the capitol building. Nice hiking trails and nature preserve nearby. Also amazing beaches with sea stacks and the famous Hoh rain forest in Olympic National Park within a couple of hours. Great location with lots of restaurant choices. Nice hot breakfast included with room stay. The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, and staff wonderful. Covered parking available and advisable to avoid seagull droppings! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay.

Right off I-5, but not noisy. Convenient shopping and dining at the Malls right there. Nice clean rooms, spacious too. In fact large King room made the tv seem small and far away from the bed. But there was an arm chair by the bed and a sofa near the tv. Great room overall. I try to stay here if I do any commuting through Portland from Seattle. I visit my Mom in Coos Bay and this is a nice comfortable halfway point for me. Super friendly and helpful staff too.

Friendly service! Room was great to entertain guests.

staff were warm and welcoming. the carpets were being replaced and it was still a great place to stay. the upgrade is very nice. the beds were especially comfortable and the spaces for visiting in a group were plentiful.

You could not get better great staff awesome room more than great seize a suite for the cost of a hotel room WOW If you don't say there you missed it.. Only down side NO room service.

Great location great room awesome staff you get much more than what you pay for.

I really liked the room, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the room and the hall smelled of musty carpet - which the clerk said was being replaced soon.

I enjoy a hotel that is easy to find. This one is and it is a beautiful hotel. I was surprised at the size of the room LARGE! A kitchen could be added and the room would still be large. The vanity and closet are in an alcove, the bathroom off of the alcove. A comfy sofa and flat screen TV. I really liked the desk area - set away from the TV. Oh, the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was a good one with protein - not just pastries. Walking distance to nice restaurants, too. Check out the photos of the room the hotel has on it's site. I think the room is much better than the photos show1

The room was big, the bed comfortable, and the continental breakfast worth attending (which is rare!) It was a good place to spend the night!

Nice and clean, good beds easy to get in and out of. Friendly staff.

Stayed one night when I was in town for a family event. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had a nice big-screen TV. Renovations were taking place in the hallways, but caused no trouble. My only complaint comes from the children in the suite above me, whose parents apparently strapped lead weights to their feet and ordered them to run relays from one end of the room to the other. And the motorcycle guy who felt the need to rev his engine for twenty minutes at seven AM. However, he may have been a patron of the neighboring Holiday Inn, so I can't really hold that against them. Location is great - right off Hwy 5 and within walking distance of the necessities: Starbucks and Five Guys Burgers.

Room was large and comfortable, staff friendly and provided good service. Remodeling was happening next to the lobby area, but it was not a problem for us. The free breakfast was just okay. The exercise facility was small with little poor quality equipment. Lots of restaurants near the motel.

The bathroom. Old peeling and warped wallpaper. The ceiled was only half painted and chipping sheet rock and holes not covers by trim or caulking. The underneath of our blanket on our bed.
