Beautiful hotel with gorgeous view of the mountains. Staff were always extremely helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Only 2 issues the rooms smelled musty and outside our bathroom it smelled like pee. They tried to fix it but it only helped temporarily. The other compllaint is that their pool is only open from 2pm on and the spa from 5pm on. So if you want to relax and use the facilities the day after seeing the glacier you can’t!!

We had a nice stay at Patagonia Hikes Aparts. The building has multiple units and thin walls, so there’s not too much privacy, but it’s cute. Simply furnished with IKEA-like furniture and built with slightly shoddy construction, but everything we needed was there and the host could not have been nicer. Not many finished details, but it fits in with the casual El Chaltén vibe.

It was an amazing view and beautiful room and location looking at the lake, amazing sunrise and sunsets, warm and helpful reception and staff, good restaurant, lovely pool and more. Easy to get to town by hotel shuttle or taxi (or longer walk). We would totally stay there again.

The hotel itself was perfect, good location a block off the main Street, nice inside and great staff. But you could hear the bass of music all night in the room, we stayed a Tues and wed, and left at 5am and you could still hear it. The rooms are warm so you leave the windows open, but we closed them to try to soften the music, so we were hot at night. We should have left the windows open, we hardly slept anyway. There was a festival going on, so I'm not sure if it's always that loud, but the front desk told me the festival music ended at 1am. The hotel was great but I'd stay farther from the main Street (San Martin), the town is pretty walkable.
