The problem I had is that every time the ptac unit would turn on a funky spell would appear. And it felt like I'd have to sneeze. The reason for that is the Ptac unit had so much dirt on the blower wheel. Got a Pressure sprayer and then cleaned it with water to remove all the dust and the dirt that was on the filters and the blower wheel. the Certain thing is I had to do this last year and this year. so I didn't have to smell smoke and dirt.

NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN

If you’re one of those people that reads the reviews, this is one you want to pay attention to. My family booked multiple rooms for 2 days and 2 nights for an event. Knowing that the Red Roof “Plus” isn’t the Ritz Carlton, expectations were basic. “Basic” meaning clean rooms(clean towels, clean sheets, clean bathroom, decent staff). The front desk staff all seem like they would rather be doing anything other than providing customer service. Check in wasn’t a welcoming experience in the least. After making our way through that, we get up to our rooms and see that we should have made better choices in lodging. My room in particular, was the worst out of the 5 rooms we occupied. The floors are hardwood, but they haven’t seen a broom, soap, nor water in quite some time… There was bits of paper, strands of hair, dirt, etc. all over the floors. From the front door, all the way through. Bathroom included. The carpet on either side of the bed was gross. I guarantee that carpet was a different color at one point in time when it was clean. The walls had scuff marks all over them like it was a bumper car ring. The floorboards are warped, so the room was flooded at some point or another. It smelled stale and like weed and cigarette smoke. The bed sheets were dingy. They were also put on wrong. The fitted sheet was inside out. The flat sheet and blanket was also upside down. There wasn’t a complete set of towels; and the ones that were there had hair, and stains all over them. The vents

Only issue is that the tv remote didn't work. Everything else is fine it was to spend the night to continue next day driving. To sleep is good enough and quiet

Second visit to this hotel. I appreciate the short commute to various restaurants and the price for fuel is cheaper near this location. Clean sheets and no in and traffic of people

we had a fire alarm early morning, and we all had to evacuate and it was a fake alarm. The room wasn’t cleaned enough when asked to clean rooms. Employees didn’t enter the room. Had to ask for extra towels because there were never enough when called the desk or customer service the customer had to go down and get what we needed it not enough toilet paper. It was a horrible experience and will never stay there again.

Great stay

We are a military family PCSing to Ft Bliss, so we had a lot of stuff with us. When we checked in, the girl at the front desk had noticed before we got there that we were staying for a couple days and gave a room on the first floor. I was so happy and thanked her for putting us there. The maids made sure to ask us every day if we needed anything.

Hard times for black folk

I had a great stay. I will say I did NOT appreciate the security women lingering around me like I was a criminal. I was talking on my phone outside all the way in the corner of the parking lot. For privacy and to not disturb any other guests with my conversation and smoking a cigarette. I don't know what she assumed I was smoking but she made it a point to keep coming to where I was every time I came outside and be in my general area. Not trying to make a race issue but I didn't see her harassing any other person. I feel as if she could have said anything to me as to why she was on my heels. The only person that was being watched was me. There were plenty of people smoking cigarettes and no one else was followed or harassed. Why was I?
