Nice hotel to stay at the airport. Friendly, clean and a fair sized room. Good continental breakfast.I was very impressed.they had a shuttle to the airport right on time. It had all the updated immenities a person needed would recommend it.
Absolutely love the pet rooms. Room and beds were clean, free breakfast was wonderful. Also they accommodated us when our business meeting ran late and needed a later checkout than anticipated. Also like the fact that it is so close to our favorite restaurants Olive Garden and Red Lobster!
This hotel is our choice when we need a room in west Edmonton. It’s an older hotel but well cared for, clean and comfortable. The included morning breakfast is good better than what most hotels offer. Beds are comfortable and the wifi was good during this stay. The windows need to be updated but service the purpose just not as secure as could be you put a wood stick in the sill to block them closed, but if you want some fresh air you need to remove the stick and then the windows can easily be slide open by anyone passing by! Ask for a second floor room and this is no longer an issue.
My family and spent 5 nights at this hotel and I got a pretty good taste of it. Overall, I’d go again especially because of the price and the location. Hotel and Room A basic hotel that offers a fridge in every room and provides access to a microwave. It was clean, comfortable and very quiet. It is nothing fancy but good for the price and in a great location (we spent most of our time at the mall which is about a 4 minute drive). The hotel has plug-ins for your vehicle which is nice when it is -29C outside... The free wifi is reliable and fast, I never had a problem with it even while walking through the hotel. It looks like the room were recently updated but it is true the shower head is quite low (and Im only 5’9”). At $600 all in for 5 days including breakfast for 4 it was a very good value. Breakfast I had it all 5 days and it’s not bad keeping in mind that its included. If you are a walk in, go somewhere else it is not worth the $13 they’ll charge you. The basics are there: scrambled eggs, hash browns, cereals, toasts, muffins, yogurt, etc. In addition there is a rotation of bacon/sausage and pancakes/french toast/waffle. It’s ok but nothing spectacular. Again, you can’t go wrong for the price and everyone will find something to eat there. I should mention the breakfast lady (Jenny) who made sure to bring us a cake for my son’s birthday, she was super friendly and helpful. Gym If working out is important to you, you might want to skip this hotel. The “gym” is a converted hotel room with a treadmill, a bike, an elliptical machine and a basic workout station (bowflex type machine). No free weight, nothing fancy and not even mats... In a pinch it does the job (I bike) but this is not the place for anyone serious about it. And no pool, this “gym” is all you get. On the flip side, I’ve never seen anyone else use it and I work out every day. Front desk For some reason it seems like I mostly dealt with Sheryl. On the 3 occasions I dealt with her I found her to be on her phone in the back office and got that feeling that I was disturbing her. She was not awful or rude but she didn’t make me feel welcome either. You get more than what you would expect for the price, I’d recommend it.
Friendly staff, room was clean and quiet. Building is mainly concrete, so noise is at a minimum. Located close to West Edmonton Mall, so lots of restaurant choices nearby. Easy access to Highways 216 and 16. Breakfast is buffet style at the attached restaurant. Floor in room was laminate, shower has good pressure, but shower head is a bit low for taller people. Would stay again.
We arrived on a rainy night after a long drive, and the front desk staff were very helpful and efficient. We had a problem with the TV and one of the beds, one of the desk staff came immediately to fix things, with a smile too. They were helpful when we asked for recommendations on places to eat. The room had fridge and and coffee pot. Was very clean and didn't have carpet, had very nice flooring. Even though there was some kind of sports team staying there, it was quiet. The breakfast was okay, but not the best, although the room was large. We would definitely stay there again.
This place was great! It was in an awesome location, being only 7 minutes from West Edmonton Mall and loads of restaurants. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were extremely clean. The breakfast in the morning was sub par, but we've definitely had worse. Highly recommend this place to anyone!
This hotel is located in the NW part of Edmonton. Front desk staff are often an indication of customer service and this hotel certainly lived up to the highest standard of customer care. Our room was large, the best were extremely comfortable and the bathroom nicely designed. Breakfast included all of the standard items in a designed that allowed for free flow of people. The eating area was particularly nice with a restaurant seating design. I would highly recommend this property.
We've been staying at this hotel while in Edmonton for the better part of 20 years. We stay here because it's always clean, very well priced, and just down the road from West Edmonton mall. If you are a member of any CAA club (we are BCAA Members) then you also get a bit of a discount on their room rates. This recent stay was as well as we'd always expect it to be. The rooms were clean and the staff is VERY helpful. I appreciate that this hotel had removed the carpets from the two rooms we stayed in and replaced them with a nice hardwood/laminate flooring. To me, carpets in hotels are just a breading ground for smells and bacteria. So I'm happy to see them gone. The one thing that we found slightly disappointing was this hotels restaurant only opens for breakfast. One of the reasons we chose this hotel (years ago) was because you could just go downstairs and into the restaurant without ever having to go outside. We loved that. However there are a lot of very good restaurants nearby so I'm still feel happy when we stay at this hotel. White we stayed in this hotel they included a Continental breakfast for each day we were there. That was really nice! They served scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon or sausage, pancakes or French toast, coffee, juice, breads so you could have toast, different kinds of Muffins, and some deserts. It was well worth having. In summary, if the restaurant was still open all day long (instead of just for breakfast) I would have given this hotel 5 stars. But I still recommend it if you're looking to stay near the BIG Mall.
We booked here on short notice for a two day stay after a mix up with our reservation elsewhere and had a good experience. The front foyer looks to have been recently renovated and is quite nice. Our check in was longer than I would like but otherwise staff were very helpful. Rooms were also renovated and comfortable. Best part though was the breakfast spread which was great including hot and cold options. Definitely a good location for a short stay.
