Very old and very dated hotel rooms. Sheets felt like sand paper and no maintenance has been done in the room in years. Very very old. Stafff was very friendly and very polite.

Upon arrival and throughout the stay staff was very friendly however the phone in our room was not working, I couldn’t call the front desk. The ice machine was not working, the bathroom was very dusty and dirty and the bed had no fitted sheet, only a flat sheet tucked in which of course became untucked through the night and left the mattress with no sheet. For the price paid to stay here this was very disappointing.

I had great customer service there. My first room was really bad. Everthing was beat up and damaged. A block of exposed, cobbled together wood was support one beds headboard. It didn't look like the bed was fully made. No duvet. They switched me to another "more recently renovated" room which was decent. There are different levels of rooms. I wonder how you know what you will get. Parking was an additional $25 per day. I'm dissapointed in the experience.

Shower sprayed all over, sink would not drain. Pillows had cases that felt like there were made of plastic and blankets were not next to non existent. This hotel used to be one of the nicest in Edmonton but now it really needs room renovations badly. For the price I could stay somewhere else and catch an uber

The hotel was just okay overall. The rooms were old and outdated, and there was no mini-fridge, which was inconvenient. The biggest disappointment was breakfast—it was extremely overpriced for the quality of food provided. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was great—perfect for attending an Oilers game.

The room was nice and spacious and the view from the room was gorgeous. Staff were friendly. I was disappointed there wasn’t room service from the cafe or lounge, but that’s probably on me for not looking more closely before booking. Food at both the cafe and lounge was fine and had lovely views.

The check in process was terrible. Although there were a few people working the front desk, the line up to check in was around 30 people. This could likely be contributed to the fact that there was a line up of cars waiting to park and we were instructed to park prior to check in. Parking was also not included in the price of the room. Also, check in started at 4pm, which seems kind of late considering that by the # of jerseys in the line up, many of those checking in were likely going to the hockey game. Also, we paid over $300/night. I do realize that it was NYE, but I would expect for that price that you wouldn’t have frayed carpets, ice machines out of order on the multiple floors that we checked, and black mold that was clearly visible in the shower. Having said that, the beds were comfortable and check out went smoothly.
