It was clean but not spotless. Staff was very friendly but the amenities weren’t great. The location was good to get to all central locations. On site Starbucks was good. Breakfast hours were not good and ended up requesting a refund - poorly communicated times lead to a quick bite at Starbucks. Overall ok but would not stay again.

Room was dusty - glasses had a lot of dust and hair in it, not been changed for a while. TV was on the smaller side and older and the bathroom door was so loud it woke people up if you went to the bathroom at night. Would have been nice to have access to a small fridge. Staff were absolutely lovely and helpful, best part about the hotel.

Our room was clean and spacious but had the worst view, or should i say no view. Good job we didnt intend spending a lot of time in the room. We were on the second floor along with a lot of young guests so it was quite noisy at night time. Breakfast was decent enough, plenty to choose from. The staff member who waited on us was very atentive, older man. Check in and check out was quick enough although being a Village club member wasnt recognised as we booked through a 3rd party, quite disappointing.

Village Hotel Edinburgh is a modern, comfortable place to stay with great facilities. The rooms are clean, well-designed, and spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. The onsite gym and pool are a big bonus, especially compared to other hotels in the area. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, and check-in is quick and easy.

We got the Club room, big room and big Tv, massive bed. Nice and modern. Nice bathroom with a bath. Big sports bar downstairs with a Dj on at the weekend. Free parking for the weekend. Bus stop right out side of hotel to get into city center. 👌
