Due to a delayed flight, arriving late and so exhausted, also having to catch another flight the next morning, it was nice and clean and quiet to get some sleep. Great Motel!

Location is excellent. The facilities are a little tired and could use a face lift. While it’s evident that certain improvements have recently been made to the common areas overall feel is still unwelcoming. Rooms are acceptable. Recommend they include shampoo and conditioner and a trash receptacle in both the bath and bed room.

Rooms were clean. Staff were fairly friendly. But fair warning, the beds are hard as a board. We slept terribly because of that and that’s so sad being on vacation. Also, the air conditioner was not cool at all and we had it turned down all the way down. Being warm didn’t help with sleep either.

It toom 3 rooms before they put us in a room with everything in working order. There is no air conditioning in the hotel, only "air circulation" that does absolutely nothing. The rooms were very warm and no way to cool them off. We were told it was due to a "heat wave", but it was only like 58 degrees fahrenheit. We had a corner room, and it is a very noisy corner with street traffic, sirens, and drunks singing at 3am.

I only stayed one night for close proximity to Waverley for an early train the next morning. My room was facing an internal courtyard which was very quiet and perfect for sleep. The room and bathroom were both much larger than I expected after reading the reviews. Very conveniently located.

Poor ventilation and seagulls

Poor ventilation, stuffy rooms which forces you to open the window. See picture of my neighbouring unit. Then you have to deal with the sea gulls alarm at 5am in the mornings. Otherwise, clean rooms and no fuss service. Held my luggage for me between 2 stays for a trip to the Highlands.
