Did not stay at the canonmills apartment as were informed upon arrival that there was a plumbing issue. Owner organised another property and allowed us to checkin earlier than estipulated. Other than this it was all a bit disapointing as the house we were offered was far from the same standard of Canonmills apartment, at least from pictures I saw on advert. The replacement house was in the same neighbourhood but in a much more tired state. downstairs bedroom door was falling/tilted, so we just avoided that room. One of the kitchen cupboards doors (under hob) did actually fall just missing my foot, there were screws missing. The single bed my daughter was using partially collapsed with her (25kg child) as 3 slates just sprung out of place in the morning. The cutlery in the kitchen was not clean and had hairs tangled.
This was our weekend off to celebrate our anniversary. Luckily the city was just amazing and the perfect sunny weather made up for it as we made sure we spent as much of the time out of the replacement property for the weekend.
