Esta es una maravillosa y espaciosa casa tradicional junto al mar, construida en un momento en que las familias adineradas de Edimburgo también compraron una casa junto al mar para refrescarse en esos calurosos días de verano.

Distribuidas en 3 pisos, más un entrepiso, las amplias escaleras son una característica, particularmente la escalera de caracol entre el primer y el segundo piso (nota; son un poco demasiado anchas para las puertas de escaleras estándar, por lo que pueden no ser ideales para jóvenes niños). El salón está ubicado en el primer piso, como era la norma en ese momento, con 3 grandes ventanas que dejaban entrar la luz. Desde el piso superior hay vistas al asiento de Arthur desde el frente y al otro lado del Firth of Forth hasta Fife en la parte trasera.

La casa ha sido objeto de una amplia renovación a un nivel muy alto y cuenta con 4 dormitorios, salón, comedor, cocina nueva equipada, baño familiar con bañera de hidromasaje, WC en cada piso, calefacción central de gas, sistema de agua caliente a alta presión, Nueva cocina equipada, dormitorio principal con baño, decoración fresca en todo, WiFi, TV por cable, video y DVD, plancha y tabla de planchar, secador de pelo, ropa de cama y toallas. ¡Todo lo que necesitas en una casa con cocina cerca de Edimburgo!

We loved our stay in this beautiful house. Nicely decorated, including lots of lovely pictures. A very well stocked kitchen, with everything you might need for cooking. Plenty of space, lovely living room.The house is in a great location, 2 minutes from the beach, shops etc 1 minute in the other direction. Regular buses take you right into Edinburgh within 1/2 hour. Would highly recommend this home.

An absolutely wonderful home for a large family or group of friends to stay at! There were 7 of us in our party and the home was a great size for us. All of us having beds, ease of use of the restrooms, and a dining room large enough to accomodate those late night meals after a day exploring the city. Couldn't have been better for us!

Perfect short stay.

Beautiful house to stay in. Everything you would need was there. Such a well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge and very comfortable beds. A few minutes walk from the beach. Local buses near by to explore the area. A perfect break away for a catch up with family. Would definitely recommend staying here.
