We stayed here for 4 days in May-June 2023. First time ever in Ghent and Belgium. The place is nicely located. You can walk to the boating in the canal, eating places of all sorts, bus, tram, St Michael's church, St. Bavo's etc etc.The staff was very helpful providing us a few extra services we needed. Almost did not want to leave the place! Will definitely return if we come to Ghent again
Great location, beautiful hotel. Room was small, tight to keep two small back-packs and two carry roll on luggage in the room, and being two people. The door key card only worked one swipe, then we had to go to reception and reset it every time we came back to the room. Luckily reception was staffed all the time.
Nice but overpriced. Attic room was to warm to sleep comfortably, even late fall. Airco did not work, only heater. Windows too small to let fresh air in.
I was pleasantly surprised by the balance between classic European character and modern amenities. I stayed here over a short weekend for a wedding. Looking forward to returning with my OWN agenda. :)

Dear MariaThank you for the nice score. We are happy you enjoyed your stay overall. I am sorry to hear you experienced some trouble with the keycard. We are aware the keycards are prone to resetting when kept near an electrical device (such as your phone) or other magnetic cards (such as near your wallet). That is why we always advice to store the keycard in a seperate place.I am glad to hear though, our reception staff was always there to help you out.
