Beautiful historic lobby and rooms! Very nice staff!

Not very good customer service. I was told over the phone and at the front desk that I couldn't get a room that had not been occupied the night before because they were sold out. all while they had a sign out on the sidewalk saying they had rooms available for the night. No one was very welcoming. The room was fine but nothing special.

Such an amazing experience. Ever staff member was beyond exceptional

Room was nice. Wifi was great. I like the bars and restaurants! Great experience. Parking was down the street so that was my only negative but still it wasn’t that bad to walk a little.

Beautiful and authentic historical hotel. We loved it!

I love staying at the Strater for the history and the ambiance. The rooms are small, the bathrooms even smaller and the bed was hard. Other than that, the staff is great and it's in a great location.

I loved the historic look and feel. Something cool about staying in a living history museum.

What a fantastic hotel with endless amounts of style, history, and spirit. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the hotel itself is lavish and the staff is nothing but friendly and fun. don’t miss a chance to stay here, it is worth it.

The property is what it claims, an old hotel in lovely Durango, Colorado. Very comfortable and quaint. Will go again.

Great location, comfortable clean rooms, very charming and amazing staff. A special thank you to Kat and Jarrod for going the extra mile - every time.

We really enjoyed the “old feeling” without the dingy feeling

Great hotel right in town!! Walking distance to everything!!

Not being able to control climate in room. Was much too hot

It's a beautiful old hotel from the 1880s. The room was lovely!

Very enjoyable stay! Clean and very friendly staff.

Noisy AC in closet of room, no coffee in room, loose and missing knobs on small dresser. I wanted to stay in an old style cowboy hotel, but the design and style was TOO old for me. I left after one night of the five I booked.
