Great hotel right in town!! Walking distance to everything!!

Not being able to control climate in room. Was much too hot

It's a beautiful old hotel from the 1880s. The room was lovely!

Very enjoyable stay! Clean and very friendly staff.

Noisy AC in closet of room, no coffee in room, loose and missing knobs on small dresser. I wanted to stay in an old style cowboy hotel, but the design and style was TOO old for me. I left after one night of the five I booked.

Everyone was real nice. Cool hotel room. Lots of history. Thumbs up all around. Will definitely come back.

This is an historic hotel and true to character. Amenities you expect from modern hotels are not available (pool, in-room coffee, fridge, etc.), not should they be. This is a lovely, quaint hotel.

Always wanted to stay here. Rooms were nice, but not 4 star. Rooms were very interesting and there were nice updates from when the hotel was first built 140 years ago. Recommend this place as a place to stay once.

We loved our stay at the hotel and highly recommend it. The room was very quaint and comfortable. It feels like you stepped back in time. So relaxing.

Stayed in room 100, which has a queen and a small twin bed, so it would probably be good for a family. We didn't need the second bed but it was all that was available. The atmosphere of the hotel is wonderful and really gives a sense of the wild, wild west.

The historical aspects of this hotel are fabulous. There was an original art deco ceiling in our room that had been preserved, and the patterns of iris, dragonflies and birds were a true work of art. The location in Durango is perfect, and the restaurants attached to the hotel were interesting, especially the art deco bar area. The walnut furniture in our room was antique and authentic, and a joy.

Loved the ambiance of the hotel. Located on the street with some of the best restaurants, shops and historic buildings and attractions. Only wished we could have stayed longer.

Amazing except delay in check in. Couldn’t checkmin until 4:00pm. Great room, staff;loved the resteraunt s and bars. Great to have coffee steps away.
