The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Staff was excellent. Our room104 had a bad smell. The front desk person came and said it was caused by water leak from overhead room and new AC in that room. She had no other downstairs rooms open.
Facilities were clean and the location was convenient. Parking lot was clean and well lit. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Located right in middle of everything. Although very small town, the hotel was clean and worth what I paid for the room. Very comfortable room and bed. The cable even had channels worth watching. The only issue I had was lighting around sink area. Very hard to put on makeup or anything with very little light. Staff was nice both at check in and out. Definitely will stay there again when traveling to that area.
Not too many reasons to find oneself in Dumas for the night. This place has all the right folks working it, and that makes for a memorable experience.
it was terrible, very poor service , i cannot even discribe in words what my family and i experienced it was like someething off the movie mississippi burning in this day and time, we were forcede to flee the hotel at 4:30 in the morning, bugs racial threats, police had to be called out, they refused to refund our moiney, after all we endured just while staying their 1 and a half nights.
The price was reasonable, location was perfect, staff was friendly, room availability great, but every room was not thoroughly cleaned (the carpet) and fresh; it smelled as if they had not been used in a long time. I purchased my own sanitizers and deodorizers. Some of the drapery had heavy water stains and the dresser drawers were musty. Nevertheless, I would stay here again if the cleaning system is upgraded.
the beds had dead mosquito's all over it; motel it's self was just run down but of course this is DUMAS,AR Days Inn Monticello was great!
The wireless internet service failed in one room and the staff did not know what to do. Manager rebooted the system the next day and the wireless internet worked for one day. I was switched to a room wired for the internet for the next three days and the wired internet worked for only two of the three days and one of those days was when I was checking out. Most infuriating was when a desk clerk told that there were no other rooms available (according to her computer), the manager's wife stepped up and made the desk clerk switch me to a better room (without cheking the computer herself). Ah, the power of persuasion! Lastly, as for a jacuzzi room, I never found that room, nor was it offered as an accommodation. Perhaps this was for select customers.
The hotel was great! We were in Dumas for a baseball tournament and stayed at the Days Inn! We enjoyed out stay! We have no complaints about the hotel at all! The only complaint I have is about the mosquitoes but that has nithng to do with the hotel! Well if the pool was indoor you could swim past 9 o clock at night otherwise the mosquitoes are too bad to be outside!
My family and I traveled from Chicago to Dumas for a week-end family event and after a long, but exciting, fun filled travel we were all very tired and wanted to quickly relax.Front desk clerk "[...]" was great, got us all in our clean rooms quickly.Only wish the pool was clean, pool had bugs, dead and live. All resturants close by, mexican resturant was GREAT!!!
