Days Inn Duluth Lakewalk

The hotel needs updating. Entrances poor pa vement broken. Back entrance bad.room good. Carpets need replacing. The other days inn in duluth has been updated. Do the same here. Location extremely convenient.

Okay place to stay but nothing special. Bathroom is incredibly small. You have to step next to toilet to close door. No hot water last day made the 12 hours of flying on the way home a bit uncomfortable. Called front desk and her response was " maybe everyone taking shower at the same time" not true most guests had gone. Waited an hour still zero hot water.....not a great conclusion to an average stay. Breakfast was the same everyday, no variety and keeping it stocked seemed to have been a challenge. AGAIN, very average hotel that is a bit overpriced for what you get.

close to downtown, not ritzy but it is a cheap place to stay. I have stayed here several times.

Exterior of the hotel was a little worn and the parking lot was tight to navigate. Rooms were decent and clean. Breakfast had a number of options, but all of them were low quality. Fine if you get a good price.

No elevators to get up stairs. Price was on higher end for a hotel with no amenities, like no swimming pool, exercise room was out of order. I would expect to pay a lot less for a hotel like this. Room had poor view of parking lot.

For the price I got a run down, noisy, poorly maintained room that was uncomfortable. Will not be staying again.

We stayed overnight on a trip through Duluth. Easy to get on and off the highway. Just a short drive to Canal Park area and restaurants. Looks better from the inside than out. Parking can be tight on the back side.

Stay was short, but room was clean and staff was helpful. Great price for the Duluth area, close to the downtown area.

The room was small. Heater was very noisy. Carpet was dirty. Parking lot right outside window. Bathroom was very small. On the upside the staff was pleasant. For the price it is a ripoff. We will never stay there again.

the location wasn't prime but we were about 2 blocks away from the lakewalk and right next to some great restaurants!!! When I go back this hotel would be on my list of places to stay.

My Daughter and I had a great time in Duluth and just wanted a clean, nice place to sleep. This was the perfect place for that. Good value, and close to every thing. Would stay again. Parking was a bit of an issue.

We had 2 rooms; one with a king for us and 2 queens for the girls. Stayed only one night. Very spacious rooms; very clean. Front desk staff was very helpful. Breakfast was ok; but then this is not the Ritz! Quite a bit cheaper than anything else and this much better than its star rating.

This Hotel is easily the best bargain in Duluth! It has a fantastic location, close to everything yet just far enough away to be peacefull and avaoid traffic. Great staff and service. The room was spotless and very up to date. I will stay here again on My next trip. Thanks to the staff and crew!

The hotel staff were very gracious and helpful. The breakfast area was nice as it allowed the six of us to gather. It was a pleasant surprise that the juice and hot chocolate were available. One of our beds was missing a sheet and the pillows were not that comfortable. However, overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The best part of our stay was the comfort of the bed! My husband raved about how well he slept on the mattress! We meant to check the label but forgot. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was good for us! The small frig was a nice plus. One suggestion: keep the breakfast open 30 min. Longer.

Had a good experience with our stay here. It was everything that we needed and the accommodations were fine. Cost was appropriate and a good value.

Fit the bill, location made it easy to access our destinations. Room was clean and everything in the right place, nothing fancy. Sunrise on Lake Superior!

The hotel is located a mile or so north of downtown Duluth, which was nice to be close but not in the thick of things. Winter had just dumped a foot of snow a day before we arrive, so parking was very limited. We had to park down on the street on London. The staff was kind and thoughtful. I mentioned that we were hoping to see the sea caves at Apostle Islands and he printed an article out with all the info I would need. This came in handy! Also our heater wasn't working accurately, and the front desk clerk came within a few minutes to fix it. Also out car battery died and they landed yet another helpful hand. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but the bed and pillows were super comfy. We would go back again.

The hotel room was clean and easily accessible. Breakfast was sufficient. Staff was helpful and available when needed. My only complaint was that we had to park across the street because we returned to the hotel quite late and the small lots to the west and south of the hotel were full (because of the great amount of snow, cars weren't parked very efficiently). I would stay again and recommend it to others if you are just looking for a place to lay your head for the night.

The room was the perfect ending to a great trip. We had just arrived from 3 weeks in Florida and were welcomed with a warm room and hot coffee. The desk man was very friendly and showed us to our room. Would stay here again.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at the Days Inn Duluth Lakewalk. I am sorry to hear you experienced some disappointments throughout your stay, as we strive to provide all our guests with a comfortable environment in which they can relax and unwind. When the hotel was built it was up to code with elevators since there are entrances on the first and second levels, however it is something Management is looking into as we move forward with the hotel. They are also looking into pool options, however in the meantime we do sell passes to our sister hotel's waterpark for our guests to use. I hope you will think of us the next time you are in the area and give us an opportunity to regain your confidence.
