It was a perfect location for getting around and meeting at day trip pick-up points. I was only in Dublin two nights. This is not where I would stay if I was trying to get a sense of “real” Dublin living but as a tourist- was perfect.
The y didn't clean the room one day and the manager told me that the only thing she could do is to apologize.
Perfect central location to enjoy music and sightseeing for central Dublin with just some short walks.
I wish the hotel had either air conditioning or fans, it got really hot in the room and we were unable to open windows, but overall the place was great and the staff was awesome!
Great stay once we found it, Google maps didn't give correct placement with address given. Otherwise lovely room, awesome location to walk majority of Sights-to-see. Only down side was lack of elevator, and requested room arrangement was up, over, and down again into adjoining building. And no one to assist with luggage over the stairs... Had different room arrangement with fewer stairs, and lucky to have another family volunteer to help with bags, as they had the same situation when they checked in.
If you just need a place to sleep, this is the place for you. Rooms are small but well-stocked with free water, cookies, tea and coffee. Everything looks new. Price was well below anything else in the area. It next to Temple Bar so it is loud, but if you’re at Temple Bar, it doesn’t matter!
Terrible place. We moved hotels and lost several hundred dollars. This"hotel" is a youth hostel that is being converted, located above the busiest pub in Dublin. Not suitable for families (which I indicated that we were traveling with our children). No sleep until after 5 am and the room is ridiculously tiny. The sign outside is for a youth hostel so it's impossible to find. No lobby just a front desk. Worst hotel stay of my life. First ever negative review.
Extremely small room and bathroom. The water from the bathroom sink wasn’t working. The telephone wasn’t working. Very noisy area.

Good evening, and I am very sorry for this issue that you have encountered during your stay and I am very sorry but it was all due to Human error, and unfortunately our members of Staff had finished early and other had been sick in the property and we did not want any members of Staff spreading their germs in the premises at all.

Dear B.D, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. During your stay we did everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as we could including providing your party with a complimentary upgrade to a King Room. Should you have researched the area prior to booking your stay in Dublin, you would be aware that Temple Bar is the most lively and bustling area of Dublin's city centre. While most view this as a positive thing, I would recommend a different area for yourself should you visit Dublin again if you do not wish to be amongst the social scene of the city. Kind Regards, Kate Dowling Front Office Manager.
