Very old fashioned. Still uses keys. Spotty WiFi . Leaky shower. Flickering room lights.

My main complaint is the nonexistent wireless. It just simply did not work. It didn't even work down in the lobby. I had to use the pub's free wifi, which involved "checking in" on Facebook EVERY TIME I wanted to use it. My one other complaint, which is a mild one, is about the front desk staff. Every time I had a question or asked for something (another towel, for example), I was admonished or given a glare. There was disapproving nature to all of my dealings with the front desk, aside from the woman who checked us in. It's a fairly nice hotel overall, and the pub downstairs is great. The location is very good, and our room was dated but nice.

Great location, clean, but horrific beds (think old springs) and very very dated.

Perfect location, incredible staff, great restaurant and pub. When you arrive park at the lot near the tourist information center, in google maps. Then you can purchase cheap parking vouchers at the hotel. About 20 minutes drive to surf.

Very nice staff. Rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast each morning was great. Bartenders are very friendly and always willing to give some history and advice on touring the area. Safe hotel at night. Front doors are locked in the evening time so only hotel guests are allowed inside. Would stay there again.

The location is in the heart of the city - their restaurant is excellent, the restaurant manager and service team is outstanding! Very friendly

Nice castle stay. Comfortable room and good breakfast. Favorite part was afternoon tea.
