We got there at 3:00 check-in and were informed that they were short on cleaners and it would be a couple hours before our room was ready. we had a wedding to be at 3:30. we canceled and got a room at another nearby hotel which we were checked in immediately and made it to the wedding in time.

The cleaning staff was great. Unfortunately there was no butter and butter is very important and breakfast. There was only one man working the front desk on Monday. Checkout advertisement stated we were on the beach and we were not. Pictures did not include the fact that where you sit is outside. Looking at the highway there was no propane for the outside fire pit

This is a fine place to stay. My kids enjoyed the pool and it is close to many things in Detroit Lakes. Our room showed signs of wear and tear (shower floor was cracked) but was comfortable.

Very clean and quiet. I especially liked that we had a full sized bathroom, not one of those mini bathrooms where you stub your toe trying to shut the door. The staff was very friendly!! Check-in was a breeze. Clean and comfortable.

Mixed bag, good night sleep.

The beds were comfortable. The common areas needed vacuuming or new carpeting. There was damage to the wall in our bathroom. The staff was lovely and friendly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms looked great but the beds were a bit hard for my liking. Pool and hot tub were clean and working, the sauna was not working at the time of our visit. Breakfast in the dining area was great; they had a waffle maker! The biggest deciding factor for us was that they allowed our dog to stay with us at the hotel. The staff even offered kind words about her. Overall, a good stay, but I wished the beds were better.
