4/5 Good

"The family room was lovely and big with a huge bed and a sofa bed. There was plenty of room for storage although no actual wardrobe. Room 313 had a lovely view across the Main Street which was very pretty with all the lights. The breakfast was excellent and the times that we visited were not crowded at all. There is a Starbucks attached to the hotel and we parked at the Stjörnuport parking garage 5 minutes along the street using the Parka parking app. Only negatives were that the bathroom shower had some mould on the fixtures, the sink was cracked and the water leaked under the unusual folding shower doors."

"I liked the location, right in the harbor, where the whale watching boats are. I liked the ambience, the hotel has charm and character. I liked my room, clean and functional, very nice modern bathroom. There was decaf in the room!"

"This accommodation was nice, the rooms were clean and the staff were very nice. I never had to wait for a toilet or shower, and it was nice to have a hot tub - I had it alone for an entire hour. There isn’t any parking, but it is near a parking garage. It’s also near a Bonus grocery store and the main kitchen in the lobby has a few nice touches to help you prep some food (kettle, fridge, microwave, drinks, etc). The only complaint I have is that it’s advertised as soundproof pods, but I feel like the people near me were still so loud it wasn’t actually soundproof. The doors shutting in surrounding pods would wake me up (I don’t even consider myself super sensitive to noises while sleeping either). I was on the bottom bunk and at times it felt like the person above me was genuinely throwing stuff around/stomping. Not too sure if it was just my neighbours, I didn’t have this issue the first night (or two?), but feel like it’s worth noting as it progressively became more noticeable throughout my stay with subsequent nights."
