Great stay. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was learning there was no parking available…after we had booked our room. For first time travelers to Iceland it can be a bit confusing.
Loved our 4th floor king bed attic room, with access to wraparound terrace with views of harbor and Hallgrimskirke. . Completely fortuitously, had clear skies and Northern Lights visible from our room!
The property was close to many dining options and shopping and was also close to pickup locations for most tours that we did,
Clean , convenient and stylish boutique hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful .
Staff, room, location, location of nearby bus station for pick up . All was excellent .
We had an amazing experience staying here! We had a king attic room and the view was incredible! The staff was helpful and kind. The restaurant was awesome as was the staff. It is in the perfect location for exploring the city via walking. We went on a few tours and the bus stop was walking distance from the hotel which was great. We definitely recommend staying here and will be back if we return to Iceland again!!

My room was on the top floor (4th), with access to a shared balcony. It was well worth it.
Super friendly service, very convenient location, big room, nicely decorated, excellent breakfast and a nice workout room and outdoor hot tub!
It was wonderful on all levels I look forward to staying there again sooner than later!
Extremely friendly staff. Nice sized rooms, especially for Reykjavik. Hot tub and sauna a great treat after a long day of exploring. Fantastic blackout curtains for the summer time.
From the moment I got there, the staff was friendly and ready to help! The room was compact, but clean and nice. The location was perfect for walking around Reykjavik. Can't wait to go back!
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Alda Hotel. Rooms were clean, a little small, but overall enjoyable. Best part was they provide cell phones to use free of charge for the extent of your stay. They also have a breakfast buffet you can purchase with good food options. Overall recommend staying here.
