The property is located in an excellent area, staff was super nice specially Michelle. There should be a smart TV where apps can be used by guests, their tv had no channels other than news and we could not use any of our accounts. The lighting in the room was so dim and insufficient. The sink in the bathroom was even smaller than a new born baby sink.

street noise from partiers late at night quite considerable. walls are very thin, same from above - you can hear every step they take, also, when room neighbors' close their doors hard, the walls shake noticeably bathroom quite small with ridiculously small sink. great location - parking is on street, wherever you can find a spot. get a parking app so you can pay without being at the car.

A Unforgettable Place!

My stay at Alda & Iceland itself was wonderful. As a solo traveler I felt safe at the hotel & the front desk staff was very helpful as well as friendly! Room was cute & clean. They provided a coffee maker & mini fridge which I stored some items from the Bonus store 2 mins away. I was sad to leave.

Hotel has nice sized rooms and nice bathrooms. The location is ideal, in the middle of the main shopping Street in Reykjavík. A very good base for a multi day. Stay in Reykjavík.

This hotel is perfectly located! Stores and restaurants right outside the door and close to a bus stop for tours. The staff was wonderful and helpful! The rooms were beautiful and breakfast was delicious! I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

Great location perfect for walking around around to see all the central attractions. Close to bus stop 9 which made it very easy to take excursions. Highly recommend this hotel. It also has a nice restaurant and Starbucks next door.
