Hot tub was an extra charge which I don't think was clear on booking. Location was excellent for restaurant, shops and tour pickups. Rooms are small and only open shelving and hanger bar to store clothing. Nice breakfast offered with wonderful views. Staff is vey accommodating.

Exceptional staff...friendly and helpful. Bar offered a limited selection of food but nachos were huge and delicious. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with the variety and quality of food. Able to store our luggage easily for late day departure. Id stay here again without a doubt!

Our stay at Arnarhvoll was fantastic. Although we were invited to have breakfast and use the spa and rooftop bar facilities, we didn’t use them, so cannot comment. We were always out exploring Reykjavík but thankful to come back to a fab room with a big comfy bed, clean bathroom and the most amazing views of the Harbour, Harpa concert hall and across the bay to the awesome Esja mountains.

Room was very clean, though small - it was difficult to manage my large suitcase in the small room, as there really wasn't floor space for it and the luggage holder was not big enough for a large suitcase. Otherwise, it was a great experience - perfect location by the harbor, nice breakfast buffet, helpful staff.

Clean, warm, comfortable room. In fact, so warm we had to open windows, even after turning the heating down. The view was superb, probably the best in Reykjavik. The only constructive criticism might be that there was nowhere to hang clothes, but there was ample space to leave both suitcases open, so not a big deal.

If only I can get a room facing the waterfront and snowy mountain, that will be excellent. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. Very efficient too! Breakfast is great. Even providing cod liver oil. Opposite Harpa bus stop 5, convenient for Flybus travel to the airport.
