"This is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was well-appointed with excellent views, and top-notch upkeep by the cleaning staff. The morning breakfast was delicious and offered great variety. I especially loved the fresh-squeezed orange juice machine. The infinity pool is really nice as you can swim and view the Burj Khalifa at the same time, and the lounge upstairs offered great snacks and drinks. The location has many restaurants nearby and is fairly close to the Dubai mall and Burj Kalifa. What really made the experience special were the hotel staff who made us feel like rock stars each and every day. I have never encountered this level of service at any hotel I have ever stayed at and my wife and I felt as if we were among friends when talking with anyone there. You are greeted with a friendly smile and a genuine desire to make you feel comfortable. I want to give a special shout out to the van driver Hanif , the front door staff: Yassar, Waqas, Khodaram, and the counter staff: Nerie and Sharon. My wife has stayed at many Shangri-La hotels, but she said this is by far the best one. It’s the feeling of a place that makes it most memorable and we will take with us many warm memories of the Shangri-La in Dubai!"
