This is our favourite place to stay in Dubai. The hotel Is lovely. The Residence (adjacent to the main hotel) is ideal for families. We had a two bedroom apartment which had loads of space for us. Kitchen was ideal and the washing/ drying facilities were really handy. Only negative was the Indian restaurant. The staff are friendly and the setting is great but the food was disappointing especially for the price. Apart from that it was, as usual, a great few days.

We stayed in an apartment in the Residences complex. The apartments are very dated and under-equipped for a family. This is especially relevant to the kitchen, there were not even cereal bowls to have breakfast. The staff were amazing and the room was very clean. The main hotel looks superb so please be mindful of there being a difference.

lovely hotel.

Great hotel. halfway between the airport and downtown. The residence part of the hotel is great value for money. Huge apartments which are cheaper than the rooms in the hotel. There are shops in the lobby for essentials. The only downside is that you cannot walk anywhere from the hotel. you need to drive out of it.

This has to be the worst holiday experience of my life. Took my family away for 9 nights booked the Grand Hyatt Residence Dubai. I know Dubai very well lived and worked in all the top hotels for 15 years. I must say this is the worst hotel Ive come across ever. Rooms stink of cigarettes, Rooms are so dated its unbeleivable. Mould in fridges, cracked kitchen work tops, broken toilets, over filling sinks, dishwasher we could not even open was like a smell of some old food of some sort in there. Also rooms we booked were 2 singles 1 queen and kind - 3 bed apartment was not this at all they had to make up the queen with two single beds was not at all comfortable for my mother in law who is 76. After speaking to Expedia and the hotel Manager nothing was done - Expedia given me some credit but to be honest thats just not acceptable after the 9 days we had no choice but to stay here as they would not help with alternative accomodation. Also ended up with a full contruction site view for my holiday. No mention of this when booking even though hotel advised they have informed Expedia of this and to inform guests Avoid this Hotel its disgusting and not as described

What i didnt like was there was any walkinh dostmace grocery shopping, we had to order via careem or go by taxi to the shops, the only nearby shop was on ground level where you can buy your essentials but not juch variety. Staff were lovely, helpful, close by restaurants were slightly expensive. House keeping came every morning. Swimming outdoor and indoor excellent facilities.
