We are here for you during your stay but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival and self check-out upon departure.

We're happy to be assist via phone or through your booking app before, during or after your stay.

Once a week, one of our team members will stop by the property to put out the trash cans, replenish our supplies, and/or restock sheets and towels. They will NOT enter the home. They have access to the garage or shed with a code. This day may or may not fall during your stay.


Sunnyside is a walkable, historic neighborhood in Northwest Denver with easy access to major highways and public transportation. It has recently undergone a development resurgence, bringing in new restaurants and breweries. The area features a mix of popular local spots and new classics, including Acova, Bacon Social House, El Jefe, Los Carboncitos, Sunny's, The Wolf's Tailor, Denver Market, and Pecos Square Retail Center. Parking is ample in the neighborhood. Just a stone’s throw away from the Rocky Mountain Lake, you can take a stroll while taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Colorado Rockies.

You’ll have private access to the entire carriage home with shared access to the outdoor space. Please make yourself at home, your hosts are just a phone call or text away if you have any questions or want recommendations for things to do nearby.

There is a keypad on the carriage house door for easy and secure access to the home.




Soft morning light filters through the tree-lined streets of Sunnyside as you step into a peaceful carriage house near Rocky Mountain Lake. Sip coffee at the dining table or carry your mug outside to the patio strung with bistro lights. In the evenings, you can warm up by the fire pit, take in the crisp Colorado air, and retreat to your private hideaway at day’s end.

Sleeping arrangements
At the heart of the space is a comfortable king bed with room-darkening shades for restful sleep. The ensuite bathroom includes a euro-style glass shower, fresh towels, and a full set of toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel. A hair dryer and cleaning products are also provided, helping you pack light.

Indoor comfort
The carriage house offers a single-level layout with no stairs and a private entrance. Heating, air conditioning, and blackout shades make the space comfortable in every season. A smart TV with streaming access and a selection of board games provide entertainment, while reliable Wi-Fi and an Ethernet connection support remote work or virtual meetings. The dining table seats four and doubles as a convenient workspace.

Kitchen & dining
Although there is no full kitchen, the kitchenette is well equipped for simple meals and snacks. You’ll find a microwave, toaster, hot water kettle, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, and wine glasses. Complimentary coffee is included, and the dining table offers a welcoming place to enjoy meals or catch up on work.

Outdoor living
Step into the landscaped backyard shared with the main house, where a retro-inspired patio table, outdoor furniture, and a fire pit create inviting spots to gather. Bistro lights add charm to evening conversations. During your stay, you may meet a friendly dog from the main house while enjoying the outdoor space.

Safety & convenience
Self check-in is simple with a keypad entry. Free parking is available both on the property and on the street. Key safety features include smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. For longer stays, a laundromat is conveniently located nearby.

Neighborhood
Nestled in the Sunnyside neighborhood, the carriage house is within easy reach of cafés, restaurants, and breweries. Rocky Mountain Lake is a 10-minute walk away, while downtown Denver, Highlands Square, and Red Rocks Amphitheater are all short drives. Whether you’re exploring local dining or planning day trips, the location offers a calm base to return to.

Exploring Denver and its stunning surroundings is made effortless with the convenience of a rental car or ride-share service. While Denver's public transportation system is dependable, it may not offer the same level of flexibility as having your own vehicle. To make the most of your stay, we recommend renting a car or using a ride-share service.


Want to bring your furry friend?
$100 fee per dog, maximum two dogs only. Sorry, no cats permitted. The backyard is fully fenced, but please note the fence is not flush to the ground so smaller dogs and even motivated larger dogs could crawl out. Please always monitor your pets.

Please be aware that a medium sized dog lives in the main house and will be in the backyard at times.

Kindly note that smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited on the premises, including inside and outside the property and will result in a minimum fine of $1000.

The Carriage House is a private and separate unit located in the backyard of the main house, with its own entrance. Outdoor area is shared. Guests can easily park on the street in front of the property.

Please note that due to Denver zoning and permit regulations, the kitchenette is not equipped with a stove, cooktop, or oven. However, it is still fully equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and all necessary kitchen utensils and dishes for your convenience.
