Checked in and went to our room to find 2 queen beds not the king bed we chose when purchasing. Went to the front desk where I was told they don't see our preferences and that's all they had left but we could be switched the next day.. this never happened. Long story short our toilet barely flushed so we had to go downstairs to use public restrooms while we had stuff sitting in ours for 5 days. The first time maintenance came up we were told he's had a lot of issues with the toilet and has changed parts but it's still not working and we'd probably have to change rooms. Different guy came up next day with housekeeping and snaked it and said it should work and the lady said the pipes in the hotel were getting blown out from someone dumping food in their sink, toilet still didnt work and no one came to blow out our pipes. Next day housekeeping lady was surprised to see we weren't moved yet and at this point we only had 1 more night and didn't feel like moving. Awful experience I can't believe I had to pay for my stay. Last thing you want on vacation is to have a non working toilet. Pool was so cold you couldn't swim and hot tub was Luke warm.

My room was a standard quality room. Everything worked. View of parking lot. Quiet at night. Staff-at desk and st breakfast were efficient and friendly. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choices including fresh fruit. Parking lot was overfilled (maybe, because of snow). I had to park at adjacent lot.

Hotel was nice, good location for getting to local parks and Winter Park. Friendly staff & good breakfast options for free breakfast. Draw backs - no movie options/rental for the room & no exhaust fan in the bathrooms. Overall, good stay for the price.

Solid stay for a weekend. Just needs a bigger pool and exercise facility.

Overall experience and cleanliness were okay. Access to and from location was initially difficult to figure out even with GPS, both finding the hotel and access to thoroughfare. Staff friendly. Close to Mines and Lookout Mtn.

The hotel was good place if you want a nights accomodation after flying into Denver before heading to the ski fields.

First time we've stayed in Denver and drove up to ski. Worked out well except traffic was insane on Saturday. Our room had the worlds tiniest bathroom. I'm not sure how anyone who is over-weight could use it. Nice pool and hot tub as well as breakfast and commons area. Main complaint was the loud neighbors and barking dog at 1am.

Love Golden! Hampton Inns always give me a good stay for good money. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Decided to save a little money and stay in denver/golden instead of at a resort. Only about an hour away from Loveland and A-Basin. Easy access to 1-70. Hotel was clean and breakfast was awesome. There was a different selection of hot food each day.

A nice property especially if you are shopping or heading west in the morning. Location is convenient to I70 and US40 however, few eating options within walking distance. Excellent breakfast and very nice staff. Beds were too soft for me.

The hotel had one problem that bugged me. The bathroom was so small you could not open or close the bath room door while sitting on the commode. It took a little getting used to... Every thing else was great. All the staff was great

Clean, quiet, very friendly staff (even all the housekeeping ladies were friendly!).

Very nice I love the beds and the pillows the staff was great as well

Got a great deal on this room! Perfect hotel for a local wedding. Clean and comfortable, no complaints :)

Hotel is located west of Denver and close to the mountains. Continental breakfast was great and different everyday. Hotel staff was extremely friendly. Yeah the bathrooms are small but all the great accommodations make up for it. Would definitely stay here again.

We picked this room specifically for the in room Jacuzzi. Ours did not have a plug. The way the hotel staff took care of the situation was beyond amazing, and because of that we are customers for life.

It was convenient for us as it was close to the courthouse area of Jefferson County as we needed to attend court the next day for a family member.

My husband and I chose this location for its closeness to family. The atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. Rooms were clean and the way the bath linens were folded (like a shirt with a tie) were just delightful. Breakfast had lots of choices. Colorado Mills is close by as is downtown Golden.

Great stay, beds really comfortable as expected from Hampton

Staff was awesome and the food was good. Loved the beds
