Beautiful and so welcoming. Clean and creative use of space, room was not only an elevated surprise to the ususal in deadwood but warm and cozy. Definitely our first of many visits to come.

The staff were fairly rude. We went to check in as our room was already paid for. They said their system was down, understandable they don’t have control on that so we went and ate some dinner. Came back an hour later still no updates and the staff were rude. Called again another hour later to check as it was 5:00 by this time and we had driven 4 hours there and ready to settle in. Still no updates, here to find out the only reason they wouldn’t give us our room was because we booked through hotels.com and they didn’t have a card to hold for incidentals. So instead of offering a solution or taking a card number from us they just told us we had to wait again. It’s now 6:45 and we get a call saying we can finally check in. By this time we found a new hotel because who wants to wait until 7;00 at night to check into their hotel room. Very unimpressed with the professionalism in handling this situation and no manager available to talk to. We were so excited to stay here because it looked amazing but this was not okay .

Beautifully maintained, attractive old brick building. Free parking right behind the building is very convenient. Front desk staff was kind and energetic and I was offered a complimentary bottle of wine or a 4 pack of beer at check in. Off to a real good start. The rooms are flat out gorgeous. Industrial chic with black walls and ceiling coupled with bright accents, ambient lighting, and exposed brick. Beautiful design and a great vibe. Huge TV, cozy bathrobes, comfortable bed. Bathroom was modern, flawless and spotless. I don't gamble and didn't eat/drink at the hotel but the casino was lively, attractive and very inviting. There are a few nice looking outdoor spaces to have a beverage and chat. Right in downtown, quiet and walkable to everything. When I return to Deadwood I won't bother looking for another hotel. It will be The Landmark.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was a little confusing, as there is not a front desk to check in. But I was told at the time, they were working out those details for the future. The location is also great and we had access to parking in the back.

Landmark was a great hotel - super cool interior. Location was great and it was easy to walk to town. Service was not as great as the room - not super knowledgeable or helpful. But all in all we would stay there again.
