Quality Inn & Suites2.5 out of 5.0

priceline says this place is a 2.5 star hotel, they are incorrect in that assessment and I will address that issue with them. we almost, almost called and demanded to be be moved or refunded. I would say this is a 1 star hotel, maybe, maybe 2 stats on a good day, maybe. what you need to know is that this hotel is on par with an average days inn or econolodge. I have been forced into hotels like this in the past, and ended up tolerating this place only because we arrived at 11pm and left at 8 the next morning. otherwise I wouldn't have stayed here. Housekeeping and maintenance are abysmal at this place. the Air conditioner is old and cranky, the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned, the blanket had a cigarette burn in it (and this is a smoke free hotel...hmmm), room had the faint cigarette odor, shower curtain rod was just barely hanging on, there was some pink crud on the bathroom ceiling, the shower plunger was exceedingly hard to operate, paint is chipping off the walls, carpet is in poor shape, and the list goes on. I have travelled the world and I can tolerate some pretty bad places as I have worked in rural Africa and Mexico in the past... But, here, when I order a 2.5 star hotel I don't expect to get what I have gotten in this dive. and on a humerous note, I ha e added a picture of the "Q quality bedding card" that touts the luxurious 200 thread count sheet set. I am not sure what side of stupid these people think I woke up on, but my mother taught me long ago that 200 thread count sheets are garbage and can't even be found in the bargain bin at Bed Bath and Beyond (where their minimum is 250)... if you are looking for a cheap place to stay for the night, then maybe this is your speed. I have gotten too old for this
This is not a Hilton, so don't expect it to be perfect. Currently under remodeling, so expect some building materials out front. Some cleanliness issues in the bathroom, but the bedding was spotless and room was very clean. Staff exceptionally polite and helpful. Quiet throughout the night. Full breakfast with eggs, sausage links, juice, milk, oatmeal, fruit, pastries, cereal, and waffles. For $70 a night, a good value.
Firstly I must say the 24hr front desk was a godsend because we needed a very late checkin. The main issue we had was our non-smoking room was clearly on a smoking floor because the hallway absolutely reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Thankfully our room didn't and it was clean and comfortable enough. Breakfast was adequate but not amazing, I have to deduct points because there was no hot tea and only coffee.
This hotel is very closed to interstate & easy to locate !! The staff is very friendly & the owner of the hotel is very helpful. We enjoy our stay. We will definitely come back again in August. We thank you for your hospitality !!
The entire experience was not enjoyable. When booking specifically requested a handicap room due to a non walking cast and was told there was only one available in the whole hotel. Was assured that said room had a "roll in shower" only to find a bathtub shower was a few hand bars. For someone expecting a roll in shower this was a surprise. The room was discussing. The paint was peeling, the chair was covered in stains, and the in room refrigerator was not working and was not clean. The tv didn't work until the manager came and messed with it for 15 minutes. Even the tissue box built into the wall by the sink was empty. Lastly, when we asked for more pillows to elevate aforementioned broken leg, the front desk informed us that there where no more pillows but if we really needed one we could have one from the owners personal room. Overall a terrible and unimpressive visit and I will not be visiting again.
Pleasant stay. Very quiet. Price is good. Location is centrally located with access to many local things. Breakfast was included. Nothing fancy but it did the job. The rooms could've smelled a little better but for the price it was overall a very nice stay.
We were very pleased that inn was a short distance from Hwy 75. Another nice touch was their location close to a Bob Evans and a Perkins restaurant. The check in was quick. The room was very clean and we were very pleased with everything. The breakfast was great with much choice for all tastes.
Breakfast wasn't good at all, BUT it's like that in most hotels. Powdered eggs, fake biscuits and gravy and I couldn't even tell you what kind of juice I took a sip of, through it was orange juice boy was I ever wrong. Sure wasn't orange juice. Couldn't eat or drink none of it. Had to eat out. Room was ok for the price. Sure was surprised when we were charged 20 dollars a day for pets. We have stayed at other hotels that were pet friendly without a charge.
This place is near the Dayton Mall. There are a lot of stores and restaurants nearby, and even cheap gas. I had 2 Queens. The decor and sheets were not standard Quality Inn. They were not as comfortable. I still had a good nights sleep. The sink was very small. This location did not have a public use computer. Parking was fine. The pricing was cheaper than other choice hotel and gave it good value. A lot of Quality Inn have entry from outside building. This location you had to enter from inside. Internet was fine. Breakfast was the standard waffle cereal eggs sausage and biscuit and gravy for hot items. Small yogurts and fruits available. Would stay here again. Microwave and big refrigerator in room. I asked for deodorant and mouthwash. Only mouthwash was available.
This quality inn and suites location is very near the 75 exit so it is very nice for us to get in and out easy access. there is plenty of restaurant and shopping near by. the dayton mall is within 2 miles. we like our room. it was on 3rd floor but the elevator made easy for us. room and corridor smell fresh. the lady at desk is very helpful and knowledgeable. we will definitely come back in march.
